Moreover, from the instructions of the oral tradition, it is said, such as "the reality of the basis of things, the stages of the path, the stages of the arising of the fruit," and so on. In the Collected Sutras, it says, "Continuity is called constant, continuity changes into three kinds." And so on, because countless teachings appear, the very body of the treatise is established, and its meaning needs to be understood through what will be explained below. That is what it says. Here, if you think that it is possible to establish the first and last stages in this way, but not the middle stage, for example, when learning letters and paintings, they are used as paths, just as when studying Vajra Yoga and Prajnaparamita, they themselves are the path. As it says: "The way of the net of illusion is shown, this is the pure and excellent path." And so on. Furthermore, the Vajra is the unchanging Buddha, and going on its path is the vehicle, so it should also be understood as being expressed by the name Vajrayana. Here, If I elaborate a little on the important points that should not be misunderstood, then these three continuities are: the inseparability of body and mind is the basis continuity, the inseparability of generation and completion is the path continuity, and the inseparability of the two bodies is the fruit continuity. The purity or wisdom of the two, body and mind, is the cause, because it is similar to the lineage of the perfect Buddha. It is a continuity, because it is continuously connected without changing from sentient beings to Buddhas. Generation and completion are the means, because the ultimate Buddha is revealed directly or indirectly. It is a continuity, because it is connected to empowerment, vows, and precepts. It is connected to the two stages of the path, and it is connected to the two bodies. The former of these two continuities is the immediate cause, and the latter is the cooperative condition, and both of them make the unclear clear, but they do not create something that did not exist before. The continuity of the cause, purified by the continuity of the means, manifests without obscurations, which is the fruit continuity. Because it is continuously stable without being taken away by external conditions until the sky exists. In the mantra, the "continuity of the cause" is said to be what is shown as the lineage in the Paramitas. Glorious Self-Arisen Foot said: Lineage is the body, speech, and mind of sentient beings.

It is like the similarity of the body, speech, and mind of the Tathagata. As it is said in the glorious Second Observation: "Merely by being born, it exists in the form of face and hands, but this is due to common habits." And "Sentient beings are the lords of the ten bhumis." Etc., there is a detailed explanation of this. It is said. This is the same in meaning as the Tathagatagarbha taught here, but due to the different views of each philosophical school, there are many different classifications. Regarding the Tathagatagarbha taught in the Vajrayana, the venerable Sakya masters in Ngagjon and other works explain the self-nature of mind as being naturally pure: although the qualities of Dharma do not actually exist, they naturally exist in the manner of cause. By practicing the two accumulations or the two stages, when the fruit manifests, these causes are transformed into obtaining the qualities of Dharma. The omniscient great scholar Jomo Nangpa believes that all sentient beings inherently possess the thirty-two qualities of the Dharmakaya of the self-existing lineage, and this is actually the Buddha. The lineage of growth is generated by the habits of hearing and other causes, and is newly produced. The great Tibetan teacher Sangwa Jin explains "the indestructible essence possessing three special qualities" as the essence of body, speech, and mind. Some Tibetans explain "the emptiness of mind being empty of truth" as the aspect of negation from nothing. The glorious Rangjung Dorje believes that the nature of the inseparability of space and wisdom, like the moon in water, is free from truth and falsehood, and the ordinary awareness that transcends attachment and characteristics is the Tathagatagarbha. As it is said in the Essence Instruction: "Everything is neither true nor false.
