As it says, the fierce blazing fire is the path. Secondly: Through the distinction of twelve examples, all inner and outer phenomena are devoid of truth. May my own body, like Vajrasattva, like a reflection in a mirror, be blessed to appear as a deity from the beginning. These are the twelve examples of illusion: the reflection in a mirror, the rainbow in the sky, and the moon's reflection in water are the three main ones. Also, eye disease, appearing without being, lightning, bright but not lasting, mirage, moving and untrue, echo, belonging to oneself but appearing as another, city of Gandharvas, appearing without obstruction, dream, together with the mind, illusion, born from causes and conditions, water bubble, arising from fear, and magic trick, one appearing as many. These are the twelve. In the "Collected Wisdom Vajra," through the distinction of twelve examples, all inner and outer phenomena are determined to be without truth. Illusion, moon in water, eye disease, mirage, dream, echo, city of Gandharvas, magic trick, rainbow, lightning, water bubble, reflection in a mirror, the twelve examples beginning with illusion are in order: The wisdom illusory deity body Vajrasattva or Vajradhara, made only of wind and mind, is like an illusion because it appears but is not established. Like the moon in water because it pervades everywhere. Like eye disease because it is without substantial flesh and bones, like the body of a human shadow. Like a mirage because it moves in an instant and is not established. Like a dream that appears but is not true. Like an echo because one imagines the body of karmic ripening and the continuum as one, but it appears as another. Like the city of Gandharvas because it appears as the mandala of the support and the supported, but it is empty of truth. Like a magic trick because one appears as many. Like a rainbow, the five colors of the deity's body appear without mixing, clear. Like lightning flashing from the clouds because it dwells relying on the aggregates of karmic ripening of causes and conditions. Like a water bubble bursting from water because it suddenly arises from emptiness. Like the reflection of Vajradhara appearing in a mirror because all the limbs and branches are completely perfect. It is not existent because it is free from grasping at reality. It is shown as an example of illusion because it appears without being. The deity's body, clear and empty, appearing without inherent existence, is called the wisdom illusory body. When practicing meditation, at the time of practice, think of your own body as an image and practice.
