The ritual for purifying karmic obscurations through the Bhagavan Protector Akshobhya, called "The Ornament of the Land of Manifest Joy." The ritual for purifying karmic obscurations through the Bhagavan Protector Akshobhya, called "The Ornament of the Land of Manifest Joy." The ritual for purifying karmic obscurations through the Bhagavan Protector Akshobhya, called "The Ornament of the Land of Manifest Joy," is present. Namo 'kshobhyāya nāthāya. (Tibetan) The great mandala of vast light, In a moment of remembering the clear mind-ocean, The clear water body that completely eliminates the turbidity of the two obscurations, I prostrate to the feet of the victorious Akshobhya. For a person who wishes to accomplish the ultimate benefit of oneself and others through this very means, there are three ways to practice: relying on meditation and recitation to continuously cut off the karmic obscurations of one's own mind-stream; relying on the mandala and mantra practice to continuously cut off the karmic obscurations of oneself and others in common; and relying on names, etc., to continuously cut off the karmic obscurations of others' mind-streams. The first is the method of practice of this very text, composed by Jowo, as it says: The one with vows should practice, in a solitary place or on the outskirts of a village, etc., having bathed and purified oneself, sit on a comfortable seat. Oṃ vajra amṛta kuṇḍali hana hana hūṃ phaṭ. (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओँ वज्र अम्रिता कुण्डलि हन हन हुं फट्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ vajra amṛta kuṇḍali hana hana hūṃ phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra, Ambrosia, Kundali, Strike, Strike, Hum, Phat) Having done this, the actual sequence of practicing the method is first the preliminary practice of accumulating the two accumulations: For the sake of all sentient beings, I will practice the Bhagavan Akshobhya, may all beings become Buddhas, and attain the state of Akshobhya. Having generated the mind of enlightenment in this way, visualize oneself as the Bhagavan Akshobhya, in the heart a lotus and, on top of the moon, the letter Hūṃ. (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) From that, light radiates, inviting the Guru and Akshobhya, along with the assembly of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, to be present in the space in front, and pay homage and make offerings with reverence in the three doors, as visualized. Oṃ sarva tathāgata kāya vāk citta praṇamenā vajra bandhanāṃ karomi. (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओँ सर्व तथागत काय वाक् चित्त प्रणमेना वज्र बन्धनां करोमि, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ sarva tathāgata kāya vāk citta praṇamenā vajra bandhanāṃ karomi, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, all Tathagatas, body, speech, mind, prostration, Vajra, binding, I do) Recite this and believe in paying homage. Visualize that from the seed-syllable in the heart, flowers and other offerings of one's own name radiate, as well as offering goddesses holding the offerings, and making offerings with the seven precious jewels, etc. And visualize with the hand gestures of the five sensual objects respectively.
