Of immeasurable realms with ornaments and arrangements, in the center of a sea-like offering cloud, in the sky in front of oneself, a palace complete with measure and characteristics. In the center of that, on a throne with four layers of cushions, the essence is the root guru, the very one who delights, Heruka (Tibetan: དགྱེས་མཛད་ཧེ་རུ་ཀ།), the form is Marpa Lotsawa of Lhodrak, the progenitor of the Kagyu lineage of accomplished ones like the ocean (Tibetan: མར་པ་ལྷོ་བྲག་པ་བསྐྱེད་པ་). Etc., from what is said in the scriptures, perform the seven-branch offering and aspiration. Then, accumulate the number by reciting only the four-session practice. The one who prays is oneself and all sentient beings. The object to be abandoned is awakening from the sleep of ignorance, abandoning all that should be abandoned, such as the four obscurations. The wisdom of awareness increases, all that should be realized, such as the twenty-one categories of undefiled qualities, manifest and realize, pray to the nature body of realization, the Guru Buddha Rinpoche. Thus, and so on. Explaining that, pray to the mind of the Guru, possessing the supreme of all aspects, the Dharmakaya, suchness, pervading all of samsara and nirvana. Thus, and so on. The self-radiance of that emptiness, appearing without interruption, the unchanging great bliss, enjoying the qualities of glory, ornaments, and arrangements completely, in the appearance of the Bodhisattvas of the ten bhumis, the Sambhogakaya appearing partially, as the lord of the five Buddha-fields, etc. With infinite and complete qualities, pray to the Sambhogakaya. Thus, and so on. As the self-power of that empty-clarity without interruption, the manifestation of great compassion that tames whatever needs to be tamed in whatever way, with a crown on the head, a wheel on the feet, etc., the thirty-two major marks, the eighty minor marks, etc. (Sanskrit: Mahādvātriṃśadvaralakṣaṇa, meaning: thirty-two major marks of a great being), adorning the body. The sixty branches of sound, etc., the inconceivable secrets of speech. The ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the eighteen unshared qualities, etc., the qualities of mind, the nature of the supreme Nirmanakaya, the possessor of countless qualities of liberation and maturation, and the Guru Nirmanakayas who guide the disciples to be tamed in whatever way, such as through crafts and births. Thus, and so on. The term "Guru" means, from the aspect of qualities, like a banner with nothing above it, from the aspect of compassion, like the mother who gives birth to all the victorious ones, for all sentient beings, certainly the nature of great love like a mother to an only child, therefore it is Guru.

And, the Lama possesses the qualities of the four bodies as mentioned above. At the end of a session, the prayers for desired wishes should also be done diligently according to the scriptures. Finally, receive the four empowerments, blend the Lama's mind with your own, and rest in that state. Then, view the three—appearances, sounds, and thoughts—as the Lama's play and take them as the path. Conclude the session with dedication of merit and auspicious prayers. The inner practice is done after the completion of the outer practice's recitation quota. As before, after completing from taking refuge to the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva, engage in the meditation and recitation of the inner practice. On the crown of your head, visualize the Lama Vajradhara as the main deity, with strong devotion and longing, recite the prayers as many times as you can, and finally receive the four empowerments and let them dissolve into yourself. On the crown of your head, with your body visualized as Hevajra, visualize the wheel of great bliss, the wheel of enjoyment at the throat, the wheel of Dharma at the heart, the wheel of emanation at the navel, and the wheel of bliss-guarding at the secret place. On these five wheels, visualize Vajradhara, Guhyasamaja, Hevajra, Chakrasamvara, and Kalachakra. In the pores of your skin, visualize the Buddhas of the three times. In the limbs and sub-limbs, visualize the assemblies of heroes and heroines, Dharma protectors and guardians, with unwavering faith. These beings visualized as deities, also be certain that they are inseparable from the self-luminous nature of your own mind-awareness. In the state of naked clarity and emptiness, without verbal recitation, mainly recite the three syllables (Tibetan: འབྲུ་གསུམ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: त्र्यक्षर, Sanskrit Romanization: tryakṣara, Chinese literal meaning: three syllables) with your mind. Sometimes, when the breath enters the body, visualize it as the sound of Om (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om), when the breath stays inside, visualize it as the sound of Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Ah), when the breath exits the body, visualize it as the sound of Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), and recite as much as you can the Vajra recitation of wind and mantra inseparable with faith. Since the body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas, as well as the beginning, middle, and end of the heart-essence mantra, are all contained in these three syllables, one practice can simultaneously accomplish the recitation of all mandala deities, and the samadhi of calm abiding will quickly stabilize, and through the blessings of the Lama, the accomplishments of the Yidam, and the one-pointed samadhi, the wisdom of Mahamudra, free from elaboration and non-conceptual, will arise immediately, therefore it is very profound. If possible, mainly perform vase breathing like Vajra recitation. Furthermore, in connection with all tantras, visualize the three channels and five wheels, and the nature of the fire at the secret place.
