Furthermore, the method of approaching and practicing the great lord translator, written to be easily accessible to those of lesser intelligence like myself. In general, since we are Dags po Kagyü, a lineage of devotion, it is essential to approach and practice the lama. The holy lamas who have appeared from Vajradhara Dharmakaya to the root lama, not only through the transmission of words, but also the lamas, with great love, transmit the intention of the heart lineage into the disciple's mind. The disciples also, through the path of great devotion, realize the profound clarity inseparable from the wisdom of the guru's heart lineage, the great wisdom mahamudra, and receive the empowerment of the meaning lineage, not only becoming one in intention. It is also necessary to firmly hold the certainty that the Three Jewels and Three Roots are all manifestations of the root lama's magical display of whatever tames beings. This is the profound secret of the key point of Vajrayana. Based on that key point, a sea of new and old lama sadhanas have arisen. Now, in order to approach and practice the Guru Yoga based on the Great Translator Kyemdze, which arises from the practice of the precious Kagyü lineage, which has the source of blessings and the power of accomplishments, first, as explicitly stated in the ritual, approach through external supplication. After completing refuge, bodhicitta, Vajrasattva meditation and recitation, from the state of emptiness in which all phenomena are originally unborn, the appearance of dualistic grasping is completely purified.
