Then, just as the sun descends upon the middle mountain and finally descends upon the lower mountain and rises, so too, the Victorious Ones, the all-knowing sun endowed with vast rays of wisdom, rising in the center of the Dharma realm's sky, gradually descends upon the assemblies of sentient beings to be tamed. First, it appears to those who have the highest capacity, then it appears to those who have intermediate capacity, and finally it appears to those who have lower capacity, thus completely maturing them. The sixth has two parts: showing transcendence of example, and the actual distinction of activities. The first is: The sun does not have the ability to pervade the depths of the sky in all lands, nor does it reveal the meaning of knowledge obscured by the darkness of ignorance. The lords of compassion, with arrays of light displaying various colors, reveal the meaning of knowledge to beings. It is said, the sun does not have the power to pervade the depths of the sky in all the lands of the ten directions and emit rays, nor does it reveal the meaning of knowledge to beings whose minds are covered by the darkness of ignorance. The perfect Buddhas, lords of great compassion, with light displaying various colors that teach the sacred Dharma of the three vehicles, illuminate the ten directions and reveal the meaning of knowledge to beings. Therefore, although the rays of compassion of the Victorious Ones are compared to the sun, they are indeed far beyond that example. The second is: When the Buddha goes to a city, those beings who do not have eyes see, and separated from meaningless suffering, they experience happiness from seeing that meaning. Those who are blinded by delusion, fallen into the ocean of existence, and obscured by the darkness of wrong views, by the light of the Buddha's sun, will see places they have not seen before. It is said, when the Buddha goes to the city of those to be tamed, those blind beings who do not have eyes see forms, and the deaf hear sounds, thus eliminating the afflictions of the higher realms. Those in the lower realms, without the meaning of happiness, are separated from the assembly of suffering and see the meaning of happiness, experiencing happiness from being placed in the happy realms. Even though the happy realms are endowed with the qualities of the higher realms, those who are blinded by delusion, fallen into the ocean of existence, and obscured by the darkness of wrong views, by the light of the Buddha's sun,

By illuminating the light of wisdom, liberating from the ocean of samsara, dispelling the darkness of ignorance, and thereby being able to directly see the reality that has never been seen before, therefore, it is particularly excellent in terms of activities. Sixth, there are three points to explain the secret of the mind with metaphors: accomplishing desires effortlessly, abiding constantly without effort, and showing its similarity by being difficult to find. The first point is: Just like the wish-fulfilling jewel, although there is no conceptual thought, it can instantly fulfill all the wishes of those who dwell in its vicinity. Likewise, relying on the Tathagata's wish-fulfilling jewel, relying on their various thoughts, even if they hear various Dharmas, it does not think about this. It is said like this. For example, the wish-fulfilling precious jewel, even if it does not have the thought of "I should give to this person," it can at the same time completely and unconfusedly fulfill all the wishes of the petitioners who live nearby, such as food, clothing, grain, medicine, and shelter, whatever they want. Similarly, relying on the wish-fulfilling jewel of the perfect Buddha, countless trainees with different intentions, including the three types of beings, can also hear various different Buddhist teachings, including the three vehicles, according to their respective capacities, and even if the Buddha fulfills their meanings, the Buddha will not have the thought of "I should teach this Dharma to this person" when teaching the Dharma. The second point is: Like a precious jewel without discrimination, it gives to others without effort, so the able one abides constantly for the benefit of others without effort. It is said like this. For example, the wish-fulfilling precious jewel, even without the thought of intention, can effortlessly give the things that people want to the petitioners. Similarly, the Buddhas, the able ones, without the effort of discrimination, etc., constantly abide in the world for the benefit of others as long as samsara exists.
