Those who are happy and unhappy, and those who hate even more than they dislike, those who like things are happy, and for those who are neutral, indifferent, and desire the Dharma, they are displeased. Therefore, the three categories of sentient beings in the world, and the three kinds of sentient beings during the rainy season, combining metaphor and meaning, that itself is a similarity to the Dharma. The second point is: When pouring coarse droplets, hailstones, and vajra fire, how are the clouds unconcerned about the tiny creatures and those who have entered the mountain valleys? In the form of tiny and vast droplets, the clouds of wisdom and compassion, for those who aspire to the Mahayana, afflictions are purified, and for those who hate, the latent tendencies of self-grasping increase, but in any case, they rain down the Dharma without any concern. As it is said, coarse droplets, that is, heavy rain, and hailstones, or hailstones expressed by its sound, and vajra fire, that is, when lightning strikes, it harms many tiny creatures living on the ground, but it does not harm the creatures that have entered the mountain valleys, and may even benefit them, just as the clouds do not consider the benefits and harms they bring. Similarly, the clouds of wisdom and compassion, raining down droplets of tiny emptiness and vast generosity and other skillful means, for those who aspire to the Mahayana, afflictions are purified, and for those who hate, the latent tendencies of self-grasping increase, but in any case, they rain down the Dharma without any concern. The fifth part has three points: the reality of eliminating suffering, recognizing change, and seeing the truth of the Four Noble Truths. The first point is: The cycle of samsaric birth and death has no beginning, and the path to go there has five forms. Just as there is no fragrance in impurity, there is no happiness in the five realms. Its suffering is always like that born from contact with fire, weapons, sea salt, etc. From the clouds of compassion, the great rain of the supreme Dharma, that is very peaceful and extremely descending. As it is said, the twelve links of dependent origination, contained by the three afflictions, due to the cycle of samsara, the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, and death has no beginning, and there is no certainty from when it started. Those who do not practice the path of liberation also have no certainty of where they will end. The path traveled by beings going there has three lower realms, and two realms of gods and humans, a total of five. Just as there is never a fragrance in an impure object, there is also no opportunity for happiness in the five realms of samsara.

There is not even a little, because they are tormented by the three and eight sufferings, etc., and are in extreme suffering. The characteristic of the suffering of samsara is that, like the feeling of suffering arising from being burned by a great fire, being stabbed by sharp weapons, and new wounds coming into contact with salt, etc., it is extremely difficult to endure. The Buddha, with great compassion to liberate them from suffering, from the rain cloud of the profound and vast supreme Dharma, pours down the continuous rain of nectar-like Dharma, in accordance with their respective karmas, which can pacify the flames of suffering. Second, in order to understand that gods have death and downfall, and humans have the suffering of universal seeking. Those with wisdom do not envy even the supreme power of gods and humans, because through wisdom and the teachings of the Tathagata Buddha, and following faith, they know "this is suffering, this is the cause, this is cessation." As it is said, in order to understand that gods also have the suffering of death and downfall, and humans also have the suffering of seeking what is not, guarding what is, hunger, thirst, and fatigue, etc. The wise ones who have the wisdom to understand the nature of samsara and nirvana do not envy even the highest positions of the power of gods such as Indra, and the power of humans such as the Chakravartin king, because the wisdom gained from previous lives, and the great faith in the immaculate teachings of the Tathagata Buddha, through following, hearing, and proper reflection, know that all these contaminated fruits are suffering, all these karmas and afflictions are the cause of suffering, and the cessation of all the causes and effects of samsara is the cessation of nirvana, because they truly see it with the wisdom of realizing the path of selflessness and complete purity. Third, just as disease is to be understood, the cause of disease is to be abandoned, happiness is to be attained, and medicine is to be taken, suffering, the cause of suffering, the cessation of suffering, and the path to cessation, are to be understood, and are to be abandoned.
