The three unmixed qualities are: Through cultivating the knowledge of the three times (past, present, and future), one obtains the unobstructed wisdom vision that is unattached and unhindered by the three times. Thus, these eighteen unmixed qualities, and others besides, such as the immeasurable body, being invisible like the crown of the head, pacifying the faults of sentient beings upon seeing them, and the sutras saying that the robe, four fingers wide, does not touch the body, etc., are also the unmixed qualities of the teacher. These are also due to causes such as showing the unerring path to sentient beings who have lost their way on the path of learning in the past, and are wonderful differences that are unmixed with the qualities of hearers and solitary realizers. The second is: Confusion and idle talk, forgetfulness and mental wandering, and different perceptions of samsara and nirvana. Spontaneous abandonment, the holy ones do not have desire and diligence. Pure and stainless wisdom of mindfulness, constantly completely liberated. And seeing all that is to be known, from the wisdom of liberation there is no falling away. All three actions of anyone are preceded and followed by wisdom. The constant and unobstructed knowledge of the three times is a vast realm. Whoever realizes it can fearlessly turn the great wheel of the true Dharma for beings. The Victorious One, endowed with great compassion, is attained by the Buddhas. Thus it is said, there is no confusion in the body, no idle talk in speech, no forgetfulness in mind, and no mental wandering, that is, not abiding in equanimity, and different perceptions of samsara and nirvana, and spontaneous, unexamined abandonment, the holy ones do not have. Desire and diligence, and mindfulness, and pure and stainless wisdom, and constantly completely liberated, and seeing all that is to be known, there is no falling away from the form of the wisdom of liberation. All three actions of any Buddha's body, speech, and mind are preceded by the intention of cause, wisdom, and followed by the intention of time, wisdom, and the certain knowledge of the past, future, and present three times, which are constantly unobstructed, is a vast realm. Whoever realizes the eighteen unmixed qualities, that is, obtains them, can fearlessly turn the great wheel of the true Dharma for beings, which is endowed with great compassion for others, and what is to be abandoned for one's own benefit.

The Buddhas, who have become victorious over enemies, have previously cultivated the path individually and subsequently in common, and have manifestly attained enlightenment from being free from adventitious defilements. The third is: Whatever dharma exists on earth, etc., its nature is not that of the sky. Whatever characteristic of the sky, such as unobstructedness, does not exist in form. Earth, water, fire, wind, and sky are the same; they are common in the world. Non-mixture, even a particle, is not common in the world. It is said. Whatever dharma exists in the four elements, earth, etc., such as hardness and moisture, is the nature of each composite, and it does not exist in the sky. The characteristic of the sky is that it is unobstructed to other dharmas and can enlighten, etc., because these do not exist in form. Although the sky pervades form, it is not uncommon with it. Similarly, although the compassion of the Buddha pervades sentient beings, the unmixed qualities are not common with sentient beings. Truly, the unmixed qualities cannot be symbolized even by the sky. The elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and sky are the same in terms of elements, etc., and are common in the world, but the eighteen unmixed qualities of the Buddha are not common with worldly beings even to the extent of a particle, so the analogy is also inferior. Second, explaining the ripening fruit is divided into two: the distinction of the signified characteristics, and the collection of the signifying examples. The first is: Well-established, marked with wheels, wide and the arch of the foot is not visible, long fingers, hands and feet connected by nets, smooth skin, with youthful flesh, the body is tall in seven places, the thighs are hidden like an Eneya, submerged in the hollow like an elephant, the upper body is like a lion, the shoulder blades are full without gaps, the arm heads are well-rounded, the hands are soft, round and without high or low, long hands, a completely pure body, possessing a circle of light, the neck is stainless like a conch shell, the cheeks are like the king of deer, the teeth are forty and even, extremely clean, the teeth are well arranged, completely clean, the teeth are even, the teeth are extremely white, the tongue is long and endless, inconceivable, it is the ultimate of taste, the self-born Kalaviṅka.
