Homage! The banner of wisdom is the ornament of all the world, The white umbrella of compassion is the supreme protector from suffering, The activity of excellent gold is not changed by circumstances, I prostrate to the feet of the venerable Lama. The one father of all Buddhas, Vajradhara, The supreme mother of Buddhas, the Perfection of Wisdom, The eldest son of the Buddhas, the loving protector, the compassionate one, I prostrate to the feet of the venerable Lama. A body adorned with marks and blazing with signs, Speech that is the nature of mantra, destroying all conceptualizations of names, One who possesses the vajra mind, free from clinging to names, I prostrate to the feet of the venerable Lama. These supreme offerings, rare in this realm, Like the emanations of the bodhisattva Samantabhadra, Arising from the state of non-conceptual samadhi, I offer them to please the venerable Lama. The supreme mind of enlightenment, difficult to generate, and all degenerations, All the downfalls and transgressions forbidden by the Buddhas, I confess them one by one before the venerable Lama, with regret and remorse day and night. Though difficult to accomplish, it is the cause of supreme bliss, All the virtuous deeds done by the Buddhas, their sons, the Pratyekabuddhas, and so forth, With and without names, I rejoice in them with faith. The supreme vehicle, the Vajrayana, difficult to find, The great secret of all Buddhas, unsurpassed, The profound path of the two stages, which protects from conceptualizations of names, I request that it be taught to beings without interruption. The supreme field, the Lord of Dharma, difficult to hear, In order to accomplish the intentions of the Buddhas and their sons, From the protector of the night until the place of the sun, I beseech you to remain without passing into nirvana. Whatever supreme virtue is difficult to accumulate, As the bodhisattva heroes dedicate it, With the wisdom of non-conceptual non-discrimination, I dedicate it to the supreme and unsurpassed enlightenment. From this day forth, in all lifetimes, The Three Jewels themselves, the Lama, the wish-fulfilling jewel, May I never be separated from the banner of unwavering faith, And may I enjoy the glory of the true teachings. Without being distracted by the meaningless activities of this life, The supreme mind of enlightenment, which accomplishes the great purpose, And the perfection of wisdom, which realizes ultimate truth, May I abandon other concerns and meditate on them with single-pointedness. Possessing pure vows and commitments, The profound path of the two stages, the essence of the sacred Dharma, Praised by the holy ones

By perfectly meditating in the state of Samadhi, may I realize the supreme meaning of the Union, the ultimate essence. Through this virtue, may I and all other beings swiftly complete the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, manifest the state of Shakya Simha, and become the glory of guiding limitless beings. This sixty-four verse composition called "The Wonderful Stream of Amazing Liberation: The Biography of the Venerable Guru Muspa Chenpo," was composed by Sonam Senge, a yogi wandering without bias in various realms, who took the dust of that very Lord's feet upon his head, in the garden of Dzongkar in Sikkim on the first day of the waxing moon of the Sagittarius month in the Water Male Horse year (Tibetan calendar). Later, in the Wood Female Bird year, six verses were added. May it be auspicious! The Wonderful Stream of Amazing Liberation: The Biography of the Venerable Guru Muspa Chenpo.
