I respectfully pay homage to the Dharma protectors and guardians who are accomplished through wisdom, action, and the world. Here, if a yogi encounters a sudden obstacle, at that time, the Dharma protectors should be urged to perform fierce actions. This is the practice sequence of the "Horseback Robber Enemy Subduing Dharma" transmitted from the presence of Dharma Lord Rangjung (Rangjung Dorje, the Third Karmapa, 1284-1339), successively to the venerable Tsurphu Monastery (located in present-day Tolung Dechen County, Lhasa, Tibet), as follows: In a fierce place such as a sky iron triangle, set up three layers of tiers on the platform in an appropriate manner. Such is the northern direction of Mount Meru, the northeast of Akanishta, the abode of the Great Lord, in the center of the eight great charnel grounds.
