Then, a genuine and unadulterated conviction arises, thinking, "Why not?" At that time, if one hears that in a certain direction there are the pure lands, assemblies, lifespans, rays of light, marks and signs, and wondrous activities of such and such a Buddha, one's saliva is not enough to go to that place of virtuous praise. If there are such wondrous things, then all of that is nothing other than the play of this lama's activities. How could there be such wondrous things otherwise? Thus, again, one's ocean of unwavering faith in one's own Kagyu lineage and root lama, immeasurable, unfathomable, and inexhaustible by time, will swell. This is the nature of dependent origination! Considering such a key point, Nyemo Wangchuk Gyaltsen said: "Having found the wish-fulfilling jewel, one abandons the sour fruit; having found the nectar of the gods, one abandons bad food; having found the peerless Jetsun, one abandons other protectors; having found the Buddha in one's mind, one abandons other dharmas." As it is said, on the unique path of the Dharma and the individual who has attained liberation, one should also train to include all other suffering beings, especially one's kind mothers.
