Within the clarity, the iron cage, utterly terrifying and ablaze, with its deep interior unyielding, contains all harm-doers, flesh-eating demons, and corpses. Thinking thus, after doing whatever amount of summoning, whether extensive or concise, on top of the nine layers of earth, draw an eight-spoked wheel with the threatening mudra, and contemplate that. PHAṬ! PHAṬ! PHAṬ! Between the sky, earth, and iron wheel with a thousand spokes, constantly turning without interruption, may the harm-doers be destroyed like dust particles. Thinking thus, perform this invocation of gods and demons. O you gods and demons with strength and power, residing in this region and generally throughout the kingdom, I entrust to you the harm-doers, flesh-eating demons, and death-bringers. Having entrusted them, guard them, bind them, do not let them escape! Observing whatever strength, ability, and power you possess, do not betray my hope! If the flesh-eating demons and death-bringers escape, I will spread the sky as a mat, raise the earth like an umbrella, hurl down great mountains, throw small mountains like offering bowls, spread out a plain of leprous flesh, immerse leprous blood in the ocean, destroy the white and red sacrificial offerings, and cut you off from your roots. After doing this, the flesh-eating ghosts and their followers said: The ocean of milk filled with numerous charnel grounds, the essence of the churned essence, the subduing white treasure. For beings tormented by the suffering of samsara, I give the food of liberation as life, alas! With the nectar of the meaning of the Chöd lineage, the excellent vase of bodhicitta is completely filled. This is suitable for yogis who perform purification rituals, and suitable for the gathering of mantra-holders and sages. Because the proliferation of the four maras has been cut off, there is no fear, and one is not ashamed to speak the unobstructed words of the Buddha. Effortless activities, the glory of those to be tamed shines, the good Samantabhadra, benefits others, and combines well with this.
