When the nature of mind (Sems nyid) is left naturally in its innate state, all the habitual tendencies of clinging to the differences of the three doors of body, speech, and mind are purified. The three vajras of body, speech, and mind are indivisible, attaining the ultimate nature of the wisdom vajra, and ultimately accomplishing the ultimate meaning of Manjushri ('Jam dbyangs). These are the four supreme and profound instructions. These twelve instructions are the hidden instructions of Zla 'byung, which Shakya Shri (Shākya shrīs) bestowed upon Nubchen Gyalwa Yangdak (Gnubs byams pa dpal). In the writings of Khro Phu Lo chen, relying on the light of the essential words of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo ('Jam dbyangs mkhyen brtse'i dbang po), Mipham Jamyang Namgyal (Mi pham 'jam dpal dgyes pa) compiled them, and it is the true teaching of profound instructions. Thus, this accomplishment method, the Wheel of Wisdom (ye shes 'khor lo), which includes twelve profound instructions, was written in the Wood Dragon year (shing 'brug) of the fifteenth Rabjung cycle, on the first auspicious day (dga' ba dang po) of the upper half of the Water Month (chu stod) in the Tibetan calendar, at a time when the constellation Gyalpur (rgyal phur) was in conjunction, possessing many auspicious qualities of time. Mipham Jamyang Namgyal ('Jam dpal dgyes pa'i rdo rjes) wrote this at Rudam Yangden Pema Samten Dedenling (Ru dam yang dben padma bsam gtan bde ldan gling).
