Reciting one hundred and eight times and establishing a mandala will protect the fields. Light a twelve-finger-length piece of wood, and burn a mixture of rice, porridge, yogurt, honey, and butter. Recite one hundred and eight times for three consecutive days to pacify oneself. If done for seven consecutive days, it will also pacify the city. Offering three sweets and performing a fire offering for three consecutive days will bring rain. Soak the sprouts of Durva grass in yogurt, honey, and butter, and perform a fire offering one thousand and eight times for ten consecutive days to pacify untimely death. Performing three Durva grass fire offerings will prolong life for five thousand years. Eating begged food and reciting one hundred thousand times, and at the end of a lunar eclipse, reciting one hundred and eight times over the milk and butter of a black cow, then drinking or applying it, will provide nourishment. To obtain a good harvest and increase offspring, performing one hundred and eight yogurt fire offerings will accomplish it. Reciting one thousand and eight times over a peacock's tail and then wiping with it will eliminate all poisons. Make seven knots in a thread, recite one hundred and eight praises, and wear it around the neck to prevent epidemics. When setting out on a journey, visualize Vajrapani (金刚手菩萨) and recite three times, and there will be no thieves. When crossing a river by boat, recite seven times over the water and throw it into the water to cross safely. Recite one thousand and eight times over mustard seeds and scatter them towards the direction of the enemy army and the head of the army, and one's own army will be victorious. Recite one thousand and eight times over a blue arrow and shoot it towards the enemy army to weaken the power of the enemy's weapons. Silently reciting one hundred and eight times will render thieves powerless. Recite one thousand times over an iron nail and insert it into a cemetery to eliminate harm from all non-humans (referring to spirits, etc.) and bind them. If the nail is pulled out, they will surely appear. Boundaries can be set with mustard seeds, cemetery ashes, or water. To exorcise a patient, recite twenty-one times over Gugul incense and fumigate. If rain is difficult to fall, perform a fire offering mixing three sweets and blood, reciting one thousand and eight times. If stopping rain, perform a fire offering mixing three sweets and white offerings. To stop hail, recite over mustard seeds and black sesame seeds. To gather clouds, recite over a silk knot, it is said. If you recite the mantra 1008 times to the tail of a peacock, and then use it to wipe the body, you can eliminate all toxins. If you tie seven knots in a rope, then recite the praise 108 times, and wear it around your neck, you can prevent the plague. If you visualize Vajrapani Bodhisattva when walking on the road, and recite the mantra three times, there will be no robbers. If you cross the river by boat, recite the mantra seven times to the river water, and then sprinkle the water into the river, you can safely cross the river. If you recite the mantra 1008 times to mustard seeds, and then sprinkle them in the direction of the enemy army and the head of the army, then your own army can win. If you recite the mantra 1008 times to the blue arrow, and then shoot it at the enemy army, you can weaken the power of the enemy's weapons. If you silently recite the mantra 108 times in your heart, the robbers will lose their power. If you recite the mantra a thousand times to an iron nail, and then insert it into the grave, then the harm of all non-humans (ghosts, etc.) will be eliminated, and they will be bound. If you pull out the iron nail, they will definitely appear. You can use mustard seeds, grave ashes, or water to set up a barrier. If you want to exorcise a patient, you can recite the mantra to twenty-one kinds of ancient incense, and then use it to fumigate the patient. If it is difficult to rain, you can perform a fire offering mixing three sweets and blood, reciting the mantra 1008 times. If you want to prevent rain, you can perform a fire offering mixing three sweets and white offerings. If you want to stop hail, you can recite the mantra to mustard seeds and black sesame seeds. If you want to gather clouds, you can recite the mantra to the silk knot, so it is said.
