The reason is that the meaning can be understood from the name itself, without having to understand it through other names. If it needs to be understood in another way, then it is meaningless to say various names. Among them, is the knowable thing knowledge, mental factors (Sanskrit: Citta-caitta, mind and the mental activities that arise with it) or wisdom? Is the knowable thing knowledge, conceptual consciousness? The knowable is divided into two types: existent and non-existent. Existent refers to matter, elements, changes, drum sounds, etc. Non-existent knowable refers to disappearance, cessation, cessation, etc. Only elements can be determined as knowable, but it cannot be determined whether they are material or non-material, etc. All of these need to be carefully examined. Second, even so, whether a name is included or excluded by another name depends on how the speaker understands it and separates it for explanation. For example, the words 'knowable,' 'thing,' 'matter,' 'taste,' and 'sweet,' the first four words (knowable, thing, matter, taste) can be used to refer to broader concepts, while 'sweet' is more specific. From a combination of one to four words, the later words can define the earlier words. Just like mentioning the word 'tree' does not exclude sal trees or fir trees. Because the general name does not exclude individual names, it is wrong to separate general concepts and individual concepts for explanation. If you say 'this tree' and understand the sal tree in front of you, then in this case, the word excludes other trees, such as fir trees, etc. A special name like fir tree, although it does not abandon the general concept of 'tree,' it excludes individual types such as sal trees, thereby determining its unique fir tree itself. For example, the word 'sal tree' does not abandon the concept of 'tree,' but it abandons the concept of 'fir tree.' And the sal tree also needs to be distinguished according to the differences in direction and time, so as to understand the self-characteristic of the sal tree, which is distinguished according to the speaker's wishes. Therefore, when it is determined that the definition of something is the meaning of its symbol, the definition and the defined are established, and the name and meaning are also the same. If there is a sal tree in front of you, just saying 'this tree' can understand its meaning. If you can't understand it by just saying 'tree,' then you can't understand it by saying 'sal tree,' because you can't understand the size of the sal tree and the differences in direction and time. Even if the name and meaning are clear, if you say 'this sal tree of someone located in this place in a certain place,' there is no need, because since you can already understand the self-characteristic of the sal tree, saying words without distinction shows that you are not good at using names. Therefore, if a wrong understanding arises, it is necessary to add a name that eliminates this wrong understanding. If there is no wrong understanding, then this name is enough and does not need to be said again. For example, if it is fire, then it is a thing, which can be determined by meaning. If someone wants 'eternal fire,' then it is meaningful to say 'fire of things,' otherwise it is meaningless. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
