The Method of Dispelling (Nangsol) Among the eight Parkha (Tibetan: སྤར་ཁ་, trigrams), each trigram has thirteen types of 'to': Li Trigram: Adorning the forehead of a red colt with turquoise, placing felt on its back, making a saddle of silk, and releasing it without whipping, this is a peaceful 'to'. Drawing the symbol of the Li trigram on a horse skull, and releasing it without whipping, this is a 'to' for subduing demons. Inscribing the trigram of the year on a wooden board and entrusting it to a sorcerer, this is the fundamental 'to'. Reciting the dharani of Amitayus and the 'Holy Golden Light Sutra', this is a corresponding 'to' or a 'to' for reversing harm. Placing the name and bones of the harmful demon in a dog's or pig's head and burying it under a Latzé (Tibetan: ལ་བཙས་, mountain pass) or stupa, this is a suppressing 'to'. Placing the patient's birth data, thirteen sorcerers, and thirteen images of horses and snakes into a red horse skull and releasing it, this is a substitute 'to'. Placing the name of the one to be suppressed into a sheep's skull and suppressing it, this is an exorcism 'to'. Providing a feast for four blind people or four monks, this is a tsok (gathering) 'to'. Wrapping a sorcerer and the patient's clothes in a sheep's head and burning it like a cremation, with a Bonpo drumming, this is a death 'to'. Using a sorcerer to redeem the years, this is an evil 'to'. Performing a curse 'to' on the Li trigram, this is a killing 'to'. The above are the thirteen 'to' of the Li trigram. Khon Trigram: On the Khon trigram, releasing a yellow cow and a yellow sheep's head without whipping, this is a peaceful 'to'. Placing an old bird's nest and eggs into a fox's head and a sheep's head and releasing them, this is a 'to' for subduing demons. Inscribing the trigram of the year on wood, this is the fundamental 'to'. Reciting the powerful Vajrakilaya, this is a corresponding 'to' or a 'to' for reversing harm. Placing the names and bones of the five harmful demons into a cow's horn or sheep's horn and suppressing them, this is a suppressing 'to'. Placing birth data, sorcerers, and images of sheep into a yellow sheep's head and releasing it, this is a substitute 'to'. Placing the name and bones of the harmful one into a sheep's head and suppressing it, this is an exorcism 'to'. Giving the sheep's entrails to two old women, this is a tsok (gathering) 'to'. Taking soil from the ruins of a collapsed house from the southwest, shaping it into seven images of old women, placing seven portions of mustard seeds before divination, and sending it to the southwest, this is a death 'to'. Constructing or performing a fire puja in the southwest of a stupa, this is a suppressing 'to'. Making four stupas one cubit high, consecrating them, and placing them in the four corners of the house, this is a 'to' for suppressing the land. Performing the Gen trigram 'to', this is a killing 'to'. This can eliminate obstacles to the 'to'. Dwa Trigram: Loading a chestnut colt with goods, equipping it with a sword, circling it three times outwards, and then releasing it to the west, this is a peaceful 'to'. Releasing a pig's head, monkey's head, hoopoe's head, and animal horns to the west, this is a 'to' for subduing demons.
