Mañjuśrī Relic Practice: Clarifying the Mind (Collected Teachings of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo MP49) In a suitable place, arrange offerings and supports. With focused joy, take refuge and generate bodhicitta, cultivate the four immeasurables, and contemplate the meaning of emptiness. Purify all phenomena into emptiness with the 'Svabhava' mantra. From emptiness, arise a crossed dark blue lotus and moon cushion, upon which, from the syllable 'Dhīḥ', transform yourself into red Mañjuśrī. Adorned with silks and jewels, sit in the vajra posture. Your two hands hold a sword, an utpala flower, and a book. In front, on a lotus and moon cushion, from the syllable 'Hrīḥ', arises Saraswati (དབྱངས་ཅན་མ།). She is blue, smiling, adorned with silks and jewels. Holding a sword and a book, she stands gracefully. In the heart of the main deity, from the syllable 'Bhrūṃ', arises a yellow Dharma wheel. In the center of the four spokes is marked with the sword syllable 'Dhīḥ'. Around it, a garland of mantras like flames of a lamp. In the heart of the consort, in the center of a four-petaled lotus, is marked with the sword syllable 'Hrīḥ', surrounded by mantras. Invite the wisdom being like yourself to merge, inseparable. The light from the seed syllable mantra garland in the heart, transforms the outer world and inner beings into a pure land palace and deities. Reciting the vidyā mantra, from the syllable 'Dhīḥ' in the heart of the main deity, arise red-yellow 'Dhīḥ' syllables like a string of lamps. Continuously, they enter from the right nostril of the main deity, exit from the left nostril of the consort, and merge into the syllable 'Hrīḥ'. Again, from the syllable 'Hrīḥ', arise 'Hrīḥ' syllables like torches. They exit from the right nostril of the consort and enter the left nostril of the main deity. Transforming into the forms of vowels and consonants, they fill every pore of your body. The light dispels ignorance and increases wisdom. Thus, from the uninterruptedly rotating mantra garland, rays of wisdom light spread like bees. Touching all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, transforming the wisdom, dharani, memory, and abilities of all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and ordinary beings into white nectar light, which merges into the crown of your head, filling your entire body. All the Tripitaka, Tantras, secret mantras, vidyā mantras, dharanis, and the sounds and languages of samsara and nirvana, are transformed into vowels and consonants, merging into your tongue, granting mastery of speech. The light of the sun, moon, stars, etc., the essence of the five elements, medicines, and the splendor of samsara and nirvana, the majesty of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and world protectors, the minds of kings, ministers, consorts, etc., are transformed into radiant five-colored light, merging into your heart, becoming the indestructible, courageous vajra heart. Thus, focusing solely on the emanation and absorption of light, recite this king of vidyā mantras. Oṃ Hrīḥ Dhīḥ (oṃ hrīḥ dhīḥ, ॐ ह्रीः धीः, om hrih dhih, 嗡,诃利,德依) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
