‘Iga’ (Tibetan, flower name), known as a blooming flower, is harvested during a season free from hail and other damages, weighing half a srang. This king of elixirs, when boiled with milk and drunk in one gulp, can grow hair; drinking two gulps can cure all fever diseases; drinking three gulps can turn the eye veins red and make the body young, so it is said in the scriptures. The wisdom achieved by the herbal goddess, grown from the fallen seed of ‘Ma’ or ‘Daughter Mula’, the lord of elixirs, the root called ‘rakta mula kha’ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari to be checked, Sanskrit Roman transliteration to be checked, Chinese literal meaning: red root mouth), also known as ‘essence of blood’, called ‘rambu’ (Tibetan, plant name). Harvested on the full moon day of the first month of autumn, mixing the wet juice with red lotus is the best object of power. Here, the root, leaves, stems, and fruits are all harvested together, wet-boiled, weighing half a srang. Furthermore, grown from the hand of Indra's son after it was cut off, called ‘Indra's Hand’, having five fingers, its root should be dug on the full moon day of the last month of summer. The practitioner places it in the left palm and binds it, this is the mudra for obtaining all the achievements of elixirs, it is an indispensable object, it is an object that can increase things, it is an object that can attract food, wealth, grains, and enjoyment, it can increase the body's nutrition, and it can achieve longevity and youth. This object weighs one srang. Similarly, the lord of elixirs ‘asho gandha’ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Roman transliteration, Chinese literal meaning: horse fragrance), also known as ‘horse bell’, ‘ba spru’ (Tibetan, plant name) weighs one srang. Furthermore, grown from the drop that fell from the mouth when the sage youth Vishnu stole the nectar, called ‘nyeshing’ (Tibetan, plant name) and ‘ramnye’ (Tibetan, plant name), which even the gods bow down to, should be harvested on the full moon day of the last month of autumn or the middle month of spring, after having a six or seven-year-old child bathe and put on silk clothes, facing east, reciting the following words of prostration, prostrating three times, and then digging out its root. Remove the bark and bones, and put the remaining parts back in place. Drinking the juice squeezed from the mashed root with milk can achieve nutritional intake. Or dry it and grind it into powder, or wet-boil it to extract juice. Here, each of these two should be taken one srang each. The scriptures say that taking this can live for five hundred years, become a sixteen-year-old youth, obtain five supernatural powers, be able to walk in the sky, and gradually increase consumption, one can become the body of a vidyadhara. Alternatively, ‘wang lag’ (Tibetan, plant name), ‘ba spru’ (Tibetan, plant name), ‘nyeu shing’ (Tibetan, plant name), ‘ramnye’ (Tibetan, plant name), these four roots, take one srang each, or boil equal parts together, take four or eight srangs. Furthermore, born from the essence of nectar in a previous life, called ‘water of sun's radiance’, which is grapes; called ‘water of moon's radiance’, which is seabuckthorn. These two can destroy poison and eliminate various diseases, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He said, 'This is the chief of rasāyana, achieving the siddhi of the sun and moon, and causing the attainment of Brahmā's life.' Therefore, use seedless white grapes, or one or a half srang of very good grapes. Or, use the juice of star-thog that has ripened well in autumn, made into khaṇḍa, the quality of star-khaṇḍa should be similar to or slightly lower than grapes. As shown here, the main ingredient is the radiant nectar (bdud rtsi 'od ldan), along with twenty-eight auxiliary ingredients, which are spoken of in the Nectar Tantra (bdud rtsi'i rgyud lung), and is the well-known king of longevity elixirs. Even if each medicine is prepared properly, it will accomplish vajra-like life and youth. Here, it is clearly explained through the pith instructions (man ngag) of the essence of the tantra. The medicines used here must be fresh, without defects such as being expired, rotten, or unripe, and with perfect color, smell, taste, and potency. Herbs such as radiant ('od ldan) and four roots (rtsa ba bzhi) should be collected in their native regions. According to the difference between flowers and roots, in the appropriate seasons such as spring and autumn, by clean, bathed, and adorned children and assistants, on auspicious days such as the eighth or fifteenth, and at times when auspicious stars are aligned, facing east, with immeasurable compassion for all sentient beings, visualize all phenomena as the maṇḍala of Kuntuzangpo, the great bliss nectar, and recite: 'Homage to the supreme nectar! Homage to that which arises from nectar! O increaser of strength and splendor! According to the teachings of the self-born teacher, Goddess, please empower me! Supreme essence of nourishment! You who are closest to accomplishment! Grant me supreme life and strength! Illuminate all wisdom!' After reciting, prostrate three times, make offerings and circumambulate, and make extensive prayers. Then, recite the mantra and heart essence of the medicine while collecting and digging. Dry in a clean place, or make into sugar etc. as appropriate, and take according to the dosage mentioned above, or adjust according to the hot or cold nature of your illness. If it is very hot, add ghee (gi-wam), white sandalwood (tsandan dkar po), and camphor (ga bur); if it is cold, add three hot spices, cardamom (se 'bru), and musk (gla rtsi). As a daily medicine, only use the medicines from the scriptures, and through the blessing of the substances themselves, add a little ghee to make it thirty ingredients. In addition, you can add brahmi (bhring gi rā dza), and mercury and precious jewels that have been processed properly. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
