The Door to the Seven Treatises, Seeking Meaning, Dispelling the Darkness of the Mind. The Door to the Seven Treatises, Seeking Meaning, Dispelling the Darkness of the Mind. This is the treatise called The Door to the Seven Treatises, Seeking Meaning, Dispelling the Darkness of the Mind. I prostrate to all the Buddhas of the ten directions and their retinues. Wisdom's Lord, Mañjuśrī (འཇམ་པའི་དབྱངས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: मञ्जुश्री, Sanskrit Romanization: Mañjuśrī, Chinese literal meaning: Wondrous Auspiciousness). Victor over the four māras, unwavering protector. Speech's Lady, Sarasvatī. Increase the wisdom of composing, teaching, and debating. Object and subject, and the means of understanding that object. These three categories should be determined. Among them, object, knowable, and measurable are essentially the same. Therefore, the definition of object should be understood or known. The definition of knowable is that which can be made the object of consciousness. The definition of measurable is that which can be known by valid cognition (pramāṇa). Dividing object from the perspective of its essence, there are substance and non-substance, conditioned and unconditioned, permanent and impermanent. The definitions are in order: having the ability to perform a function, not having the ability to perform a function. For example, space. Born from its own causes and conditions, not born from its own causes and conditions, an indestructible dharma, self-arisen, a substance that does not remain from one time to a second time. Dividing substance from the perspective of its essence, there are two: form and consciousness. The definition of the first is composed of particles. The definition of the second is object, tangible. Dividing form, there are external form and internal form. The definitions are in order: composed of external particles, composed of internal particles. Dividing external form, there are five: form, sound, smell, taste, and touch. The definitions are in order: a form that is the actual object of eye consciousness. A sound that is the actual object of ear consciousness. A smell that is the actual object of nose consciousness. A taste that is the actual object of tongue consciousness. A touch that is the actual object of body consciousness. Form includes colors such as white and black, and shapes such as squares. Sound includes sounds that convey meaning, such as speech, and sounds that do not convey meaning, such as the sound of water. Smell includes fragrant and non-fragrant. Taste includes delicious and non-delicious. Touch includes smooth and rough. Dividing internal form, there are five: the eye sense faculty with form, the ear sense faculty, the nose sense faculty, the tongue sense faculty, and the body sense faculty with form. The definitions are in order: an internal form that is the dominant condition of eye consciousness. An internal form that is the dominant condition of ear consciousness. An internal form that is the dominant condition of nose consciousness. An internal form that is the dominant condition of tongue consciousness. An internal form that is the dominant condition of body consciousness.

Can be a condition. Classification: Each one, like the eye faculty when the eye contacts an object, is a form faculty with support, and like the eye faculty when the eye does not contact an object. There are two types of form faculties like this. From the aspect of the function of things, there are two types: cause and effect. Respective definitions: Other things that change after a phenomenon exists or does not exist. From the aspect of the essence of cause, there are two types: substantial cause and indirect cause. Respective definitions: A cause of a certain phenomenon that is neither the cause of that phenomenon nor your effect; and a cause of a certain phenomenon that is both the cause of that phenomenon and your effect. From the aspect of the main and secondary causes, there are two types: immediate cause and accompanying condition. Respective definitions: Relative to the accompanying condition of that phenomenon, that phenomenon arises; the immediate cause of that phenomenon becomes a helper in producing it. In general, conditions can be divided into three types: objective condition, dominant condition, and immediately preceding condition. Respective definitions: The external object that directly produces the appearance of an object; the phenomenon that produces autonomously; the nature of clarity and awareness that mainly and directly produces. By the way, regarding the three times and coarse continuity, etc., the definition of the past is that it has already passed; the definition of the future is that it has not yet arrived but has not yet passed; the definition of the present is that it has arisen but has not yet ceased. The definition of coarse is a particle that has a partial aspect that has become its own entity, such as a vase. The definition of an indivisible particle is a particle that has no partial aspect that has become its own entity, such as the smallest particle in front. The definition of continuous is a thing that has multiple previous and subsequent moments that have become its own entity, such as a year. The definition of an indivisible moment is a thing that has no previous or subsequent moment that has become its own entity, such as the first of the sixty moments that have become part of a letter. From the aspect of the different ways in which an object is made into an object, there are three types: appearing object, apprehended object, desired object, and entering object. The definition of apprehended object: To be cognized after appearing. Classification: Manifest apprehended object, inferential apprehended object, and non-conceptual erroneous consciousness apprehended object. First
