For those who do not wish to reverse, it is impossible to abandon the cognitive obscurations of attachment to them, because these objects are established in ultimate truth. As the Commentary on Valid Cognition says, "If this object is not refuted, then it is not possible to abandon it." Such harm should also be established. It is impossible to generate realization of the non-existence of the apprehended, the apprehender, etc., and to abandon the mind of clinging to reality, because it is truly established. For example, just as it is impossible to generate realization of existence in the emptiness that abides in non-existence, and to prevent the mind from clinging to non-existence. If you admit, then it does not harm the clinging to reality, just like space, it is also explained. The second is the second, which is extensively explained by the later commentary, which is the actual explanation of contradictory commitments. The second is, whatever the Bhagavan has abandoned all kinds of cognitive obscurations, and whatever the phenomena of the apprehended, the apprehender, and self-awareness, I, Maitreya, consider it wonderful that they are admitted to exist in ultimate truth. The reason is that it is promising and vowing mutually contradictory meanings, because, as established by other realists, the reversed conceptualizations of clinging to appearances as real are impossible to abandon because they do not reverse. The sign is established, if the defiled dharma is established in ultimate truth, then it is impossible to abandon, or if the object is truly established, then the clinging to reality is impossible to abandon. The second is the second of refuting the great Bodhi established by conceptualization, explaining the system of establishing the tenets of emptiness. The second has three, the first of which is, having eliminated the party that wants the apprehended, the apprehender, etc. to exist, below that, those who desire liberation and complete enlightenment should only commit to this system that shows all things to be without self-nature, such as the party that abides in the intermediate words, that is, the tenets determined by scripture and reason, have been spoken. The need is, for the sake of stabilizing the party that wants all dharmas to be without essence. The second has three, the object free from imputation and denigration, the path that does not cling to imputation and denigration, and the result obtained by that path. The first is, for this dependent arising, there is nothing to be eliminated of the two selves, because these two have never existed from the beginning. The other of the two selflessnesses

There is nothing to be added or subtracted, as these two have no beginning or end. Thus, it is free from accepting or rejecting "self" and "no-self." Secondly, the truth that is free from both acceptance and rejection is to see things as they are, without distortion. Thirdly, if one truly sees the meaning of the two no-selves, one will gradually be liberated from the afflictive obscurations and the cognitive obscurations. Thirdly, one should examine. Where should one examine? It is on this very dependent arising of form and so on, which are interconnected. With what should one examine? With the aspiration for perfect enlightenment. How should one examine? For any dependent arising phenomena, without denying its conventional truth by way of negation, nor establishing its inherent existence in ultimate truth by way of affirmation, but merely seeing it as devoid of inherent existence, and as having no arising or ceasing. Why should one examine in this way? Because clinging to the appearance of fabrication and truth prevents one from being liberated from such ingrained views, and thus one cannot attain perfect enlightenment, as previously stated. The necessity of examining in this way is: when one examines in a way that is free from addition and subtraction, due to the reversal of the distorted clinging to the truth of objects, one will see the true nature of objects, and at that time one will be liberated. What is the nature of what is to be abandoned and the antidote? In reality, there is no victory or defeat, but in illusion, just as a magical elephant appears to defeat another magical elephant, so too, the magical antidote merely appears to destroy the magical object to be abandoned. The second is the second of the antidotes, the ordinary meaning, which is the real. Explaining the nature of the peak practice of the path of seeing. The second part has two parts: the actual and how to practice. In the first part there are three points. The first point is: thus, since it is not covered by the summary of the body classification, the verses that come to mind, from the friend to what was just said, are stating the real, that is, the ordinary nature of the path of seeing. The second point is: each of the six perfections, such as generosity, contains the other six perfections, and what is contained by the forbearance of a single moment is the path of seeing in this peak practice. When the great Bodhisattva completely gives generosity and completely dedicates it to omniscience, the bodily action of loving-kindness towards sentient beings.
