If it is a non-existent object, then it is one. If the essence is many objects, then it must be many. In summary, the true one and many are separate. Because for permanence and impermanence, nothing can be said. Refuting the pervasive space as truly one: Answering in two ways, such as difference, space and time, etc., are the subject. They are not truly one, because they meet, gather, and relate at the same time with things like trees that have directions in different directions such as the east. Refuting the non-pervasive one as true: Refuting the external environment as truly one. Refuting consciousness as truly one. The first case: Coarse and fine particles refute one as true, and the meaning composed of them. The first case: Two cases such as obscuration. The pot is the subject. It is not truly one, because it has three cases, namely obscuration and non-obscuration, etc., contradictions dependent on matter, movement and non-movement, etc., contradictions dependent on action, and being cut by a sword and not being cut by a sword, etc., contradictions dependent on quality. Refuting the truth of one atom: Twelve cases such as adhesion. The atom located in the center of the ten directions is the subject. The eastern atom and the atoms of the other nine directions do not have different positions, because your face facing east is the same as your face facing the atoms of the other nine directions. If you admit it, then it is impossible for coarse things such as the earth to expand, because you admit it. If you admit that each face is different, then it is the subject. It is not an indivisible one, because you have ten different faces facing the atoms of the ten directions. The third, the meaning composed of it: It is shown through four parts: establishing the subject, establishing pervasiveness, and therefore. Knowable, is the subject. The aggregates, elements, and sources spoken of by one's own school, and the material objects with limbs, etc., spoken of by other schools, do not have a true nature, which is obvious and established, because atoms do not have a true nature. Pervasiveness exists, because one's own school admits that the ten form objects are the nature of the accumulation of fine particles. Other schools believe that the material of the limbs is composed of atoms, and that color, smell, etc. are its qualities, lifting and placing, etc. are its actions, existence itself, etc. is the great commonality, as well as the individual and blue, etc.

Because the differences contained in earth and other elements are acknowledged to establish the connection of being contained in the substance of gross limbs. In refuting the truth of a single consciousness: Refuting the tenets of the two schools that assert objects, refuting the tenets of externalists, and refuting the tenets of the Mind-Only school. In the first of these: refuting the tenets of the Sautrāntika school that asserts objectless distinctions, and refuting the tenets of the Vaibhāṣika school. In the first of these: establishing that object-consciousness and self-consciousness are not the same, and establishing that the tenets of the two object-asserting schools are not the same. In the first of these: establishing that self-consciousness is valid, and establishing that object-consciousness is invalid. In the first of these: stating the consequence, establishing the pervasion, and summarizing the meaning. The first is: among the four, such as consciousness, the subject, consciousness, it follows that self-consciousness is valid, because you arise as distinct from the nature of matter. It follows that the pervasion is valid, because whatever is not the nature of matter, that apprehending aspect is the self-consciousness of that consciousness. When establishing the pervasion, among the four, such as one, the subject, that, it follows that your self-consciousness does not exist as the three—the knowable, the knowing, and the knower—being distinct entities, because you are a single entity without substantial parts. It follows that the pervasion is valid, because it is unreasonable for the three—the agent, the action, and the object—to be distinct entities for a single entity without substantial parts. Summarizing the meaning, among the two, such as therefore, the subject, that, it follows that self-consciousness is valid, because you are the nature of the apprehending aspect. That object-consciousness is invalid is: among the six, such as object, it follows that actually experiencing the object is invalid, because object and consciousness are distinct entities. It follows that this is so, because the nature of the object is not in consciousness, and the nature of consciousness is not in the object. Just as self-consciousness is established as valid, it follows that object-consciousness is invalid, because object and consciousness are unrelated and distinct entities. Among the differences in the tenets of the two object-asserting schools, the Sautrāntika school holds that experiencing after examining the object is valid, and it is shown that the Vaibhāṣika school holds that experiencing after examining is also invalid. The first is: among the four, such as consciousness, the Sautrāntika school holds that although object and consciousness are distinct entities, experiencing after examining the object is valid, because they acknowledge the aspect of the object. The second is: among the four, such as object, the Vaibhāṣika school holds that the aspect of experiencing after examining the external object, that is, this way, is also invalid, because they do not acknowledge the aspect of the object. In refuting the Sautrāntika school, refuting the tenets of those who assert manifold non-duality, half an egg, and equal number of consciousnesses. The first is: consciousness, etc.
