If one thinks: Even if in another life, the Buddhas who perfect the causes of awakening do not appear in the world, and the Shravakas have become exhausted, but the wisdom of the Pratyekabuddhas is merely without distraction and reliance, or without the reliance of seeking virtuous friends, therefore, through diligence, one will definitely attain nirvana. These are the ways in which it becomes meaningful for those of the Hinayana lineage. For the Mahayana practitioners, this path serves as the eye for other paths, leading them to the city of liberation, and once they have transcended, they obtain the name "gone to the other shore," which comes from accumulating the treasure of merit. Blind people without a target, hundreds of thousands, They do not know the way, how can they enter the city? Likewise, without wisdom, with the five perfections, Without a target, they cannot touch enlightenment. When wisdom completely grasps, Then they find the eye and obtain this name. Thus it is said. This place is very important, therefore, even doubting whether it is so or not is praised. The Shataka says: Even when merit is small, for this Dharma, One will not doubt. Merely doubting, Will make existence crumble. Thus it is said. Those with the wisdom to see those benefits, even sacrificing their lives, should always, like the princes, seek the perfection of wisdom, and constantly strive to contemplate this profound meaning of the inner self. The Shataka says: If seen correctly, one dwells in the supreme place, If seen slightly, one goes to a good destination. Therefore, for the contemplation of the inner self, The wise should always generate intelligence. Thus it is said. Secondly, the teaching that self and what belongs to self are without inherent existence is taught by the previously cited and many other profound Sutras. Its meaning is that this treatise summarizes and establishes it, and by becoming familiar with it, all faults are averted. Therefore, all the profound meanings that have been taught are the suchness.
