Furthermore, the secret nature of body, speech, and mind, the manner in which the deities appear is the arising of the three secrets, which is precisely discrimination. 'The arising of knowledge and the knowable ceases,' means that knowledge with the aspect of inverted conventionality, and the arising of discrimination of the knowable, do not exist. That which is called 'precious and great' is because it bestows the supreme fruit. The obstructing vajra is luminosity, and the mind abiding therein is transformed into its own nature. 'By the steadfast vajra path, spread out into the realm of space,' means that by remembering with the steadfast and vajra path, one should spread out into all the realms of space, which are the aggregates, elements, and sources of the nature of the assembly of deities endowed with light. 'By means of wisdom, skillful means, and entering into equipoise, in all things, in all,' means that entering into equipoise with wisdom and skillful means is in the manner of emptiness and compassion being non-dual. That which is called 'all things' is the assembly of the very nature of the deities, endowed with light, which are the aggregates, elements, and sources. 'In the manner of revolving' means that in the manner of emptiness and compassion being non-dual, one should closely gather them into the center of the bindu of whatever meditation one practices on oneself, and meditate on that bindu itself. That which is called 'bindu' is an approximate representation, and in this order, the union of ali and kali, and so forth, are also the same. 'The instantaneous perfection of wisdom' means that the instantaneous arising of self-awareness is also seeing that very reality. In particular, whenever one meditates on the bindu with the order of individually gathering these in the center of the eyebrows, at that time, the life force, grasping, recollection, and samadhi will also arise perfectly. Again, it is said in the root tantra: 'In the center of the eyebrows, one should establish the position of the avadhuti.' This which is said is also the same in the tantra of Ri-gi A-ra-li. A-ra-li asked the goddess: How is the supreme wisdom? By merely knowing what, even slightly, does the practitioner attain accomplishment? The goddess of lineage spoke truthfully: Great wisdom is supreme bliss, born from the omniscient wisdom, born from the protected and the protector, abandoning all thoughts, the senses

Having blocked all that with this. In a solitary place devoid of beings. Separated from all duality. Without opening or closing the eyes. Focus the mind on the space between the eyebrows. The practitioner will first see. The unbearable aspect of darkness. Then the left ear will. Slowly and gently sway. What is the bliss of the wisdom mother? Likewise is the bliss of the Great Seal. The nature of decay is not the Great Seal. Therefore, wisdom is also decaying. Therefore, meditate on the wisdom mudra. In order to accomplish great bliss. This great wisdom alone. Is the nature to be known by oneself. It cannot be shown to others. Like a young maiden experiencing pleasure. With this practice of union. With the mind, make sentient beings happy. With compassion, to all sentient beings. This practice of union brings happiness. With the practice of familiarizing with this. With a mind equal to space. Possessing the miraculous power of great compassion. The yoga will be accomplished without doubt. First, the aspect of darkness is seen. Second, like white smoke. Third, like a firefly. Fourth, like a Java flower. Fifth, like a cloudless sky. Separated from the feeling of self and other. That cause of knowing all things. Also corresponds to the simile of a cloudless sky. With the practice of constant familiarization. Practice this one-pointed mind in this way. Always with the nectar of wisdom. By drinking, there is no obstruction of hunger and thirst. There is no suffering of old age and disease. With this practice of skillful means. One will know all the mountains. Thus it is said. Possessing the fragrance of benefit and happiness, the lotus garden of the victorious teachings. The essence of liberation nectar with blossoming petals of explanation and practice. From the great Dharma monastery, spread this rain of Dharma giving. Mangalam! Extracted from the "Distinguishing the Excellent" commentary on the Glorious Abhisamayalankara.
