The Oral Instructions of Je: A Guide to the Two Stages of Meditation, recorded by Sthavira Sādhu Bhadra. The Oral Instructions of Je: A Guide to the Two Stages of Meditation, recorded by Sthavira Sādhu Bhadra. The Oral Instructions of Je: A Guide to the Two Stages of Meditation, recorded by Sthavira Sādhu Bhadra. Here ends. I prostrate to the immaculate lotus feet of the Lord of Dharma, glorious and precious Lama, whose essence is indistinguishable from that of the venerable Manjushri. Please, with great love, continuously and without interruption, guide me in all times and circumstances. Regarding the nature, order, definite number, function, boundaries, individual experiences, ways of generating experiences, correct and apparent experiences, distinctions, and methods of eliminating obstacles of the Mantrayana and Paramitayana paths, these should be understood in the extensive presentations of Sutra and Tantra by the omniscient Je Rinpoche. Here, I will briefly explain the oral instructions, combining them with the 'Joyful,' 'Clear Lamp,' and the two 'Guidebooks'. In the context of the first stage, since one must learn to perceive all appearances as deities, after completing the gross and subtle stages of the generation stage, when entering the completion stage, the method of initially taking the experience of bodily isolation is as follows: As stated in the 'Condensed Five Stages': 'Body, time, place, and wind, the abodes should be known as four aspects.' One should possess four key points: Visualize oneself as the great secret Vajradhara (Dorje Chang) in union, within the wick of the dhūti (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) at the tip of the jewel, or in the 'Ear of Whispers,' it is said that in the center of the jewel there is an eight-petaled chakra. In any of the dhūtis (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) in its center, above a sun disc the size of half a pea, visualize a bindu (thigle) possessing three characteristics: blue in color, round in shape, about the size of a mustard seed or rapeseed, extremely radiant, emitting five rays of light of the nature of the five wisdoms. View it as the essence of your own deity, and with the manner in which your own mind enters it inseparably, be free from sinking and excitement. Meditate single-pointedly. When the experience of the mind mixing with the bindu arises, the sensory winds reverse inward, and the four signs of entering, abiding, and dissolving occur in any of the dhūtis (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), appearing in a definite order, and then a special tummo arises.

Burning from within, the bodhicitta melts, and wherever it reaches is the descent. The way the four joys of the lower stability arise is: In the Tantra Vajra Garland it says: After that, the way of arising should be explained. The great bliss wheel is on the crown of the head. This is said to be joy. The enjoyment wheel is the joy of offering, and the joy of separation abides in the Dharma wheel. The emanation wheel is coemergent. One experiences joy. Thus it is said. From the crown of the head to the throat, joy is established, and from this, the other three should be known. The way the lower stability arises is also like that. In that very text it says: The emanation wheel is joy, and the supreme joy abides in the Dharma wheel. The joy of separation from enjoyment, coemergent and great joy. It is said to be the reverse order. Thus it is said. The location of this should also be known by the order previously explained. Here, great bliss is the life force of the path, and its stability depends on the bliss of the lower stability, so the way it arises is very important. Also, in Man Nyer it says: Its place of arising starts from the jewel and goes as far as the navel. As the unmoved bodhicitta grows, it goes upwards to the navel. According to the words spoken like that, if one does not move away from the jewel, it seems like it is turning back on itself. But in the beginning, it is not turning back on itself, so the yogi must deliberately make it go upwards to the crown of the head. In the Tantra Vajra Garland it says: The nature of the wind has gone before, that nature goes upwards, the yogi should practice. From that, the emanation wheel, it should be known as joy. Thus it is said. From the tip of the jewel to the emanation wheel is joy, from there to the Dharma wheel is supreme joy, from there to the enjoyment wheel is special joy, from there to the great bliss wheel is coemergent joy. All four of these, in Man Nyer, are in order: Coemergent joy has large, small, and medium. For the large one, it is said to make the largest of the large. After experiencing the coemergent of the descent, the way the yogi practices the four joys of the lower stability is: When starting to raise the wind at the beginning of meditating by combining bliss and emptiness, one gathers the bodhicitta with intention, from within the
