The Great Yoga Tantra called "Glorious Wisdom Vajra, Collected from All" The Great Yoga Tantra called "Glorious Wisdom Vajra, Collected from All" The Great Yoga Tantra called "Glorious Wisdom Vajra, Collected from All" is complete. In Indian language: Śrī Jñānasamuccayanāmamahāyogatantra. In Tibetan: The Great Yoga Tantra called "Glorious Wisdom Vajra, Collected from All." Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Thus spoke the Bhagavan in the Tantra of the Wisdom Vajra, Collected from All. Maitreya and six thousand Bodhisattvas asked the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, what is ignorance, what arises from the mind, and what is called mind? The Bhagavan, the Vajra of body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas, spoke thus: Son of lineage, listen! The three wisdoms, the three wisdoms that truly arise from the Vajra, are the nature of the Vajra. Maitreya asked: Bhagavan, what is the nature of the three wisdom Vajras? The Bhagavan spoke thus: The nature of being without attachment, extremely difficult to realize. Without cessation, without arising. Its cause is ignorance. What is called ignorance is the near attainment of appearance and great emptiness. That too is extremely difficult to realize. However, it should be spoken of as having appearance. Arising from the cause of ignorance is what arises from the mind. That is the increase of appearance and utter emptiness. Mind Arising from the cause of what arises from the mind is mind. That is the emptiness of appearance. Mind and what arises from the mind. I and what is called ignorance, and no-self, these three are the Vajra nature arising from clear light. Then Maitreya and the Bodhisattvas had a wonderful thought at that time and became silent. Then again, the Bhagavan, the Vajra of body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas, seeing that the great Bodhisattvas were silent, spoke thus: Son of lineage, why do you remain silent? Then, the great Bodhisattvas, with the two feet of the Bhagavan

Having paid homage and inquired, I further requested: Alas, Teacher, the distinctions of the three consciousnesses, which are extremely difficult to realize and profoundly deep, please, O Bhagavan, explain! Please, O Sugata, explain! The Bhagavan spoke: The consciousness that arises from the lower manifestation is called mind, intellect, and consciousness, which is the root of all dharmas, and is the nature of being both completely defiled and completely purified. From this, dualistic thoughts arise, namely, self and other. The young one of consciousness is wind. From wind comes fire. From fire comes water. From water comes earth. From these arise the five aggregates, the six sense bases, and the five objects. All of these are the mixture of consciousness and wind. Then, the nature of the three consciousnesses manifests, acts very clearly, and is subsequently experienced. By the cause of manifestation, the natures truly arise. Among them, clear light is unborn, without abiding, without cessation, without birth, the ultimate truth, the limit without attachment. From this arises the manifestation of darkness, which is ignorance. Its nature is ignorance itself, delusion, distraction, lack of mindfulness, laziness, speechlessness, and obscurity. From ignorance arises mental activity, like the appearance of the sun, extremely clear, like a mirage. Its nature is desire, joy, great joy, the six, and so forth, and in conventionality, the manifest form of a male, a host of deities, signs, and the symbols of the vajra. From mental activity arises mind, like the appearance of the moon, like the moon in extremely clear water. Its nature is detachment from desire, and so forth. In conventionality, it is the manifest female, the bhaga, the lotus, and the symbols of a host of goddesses. From the true union of vajra and lotus, the wisdom of prajna arises. After one's own vajra has exerted effort, from the fire of the female comes water, appearing moist, then appearing hot, appearing elongated, appearing round, and then from the appearance of detachment, blood clots harden, and so forth. These are born from semen and blood. Then, when the two faculties unite equally, desire arises.
