Emaho! Chandrakirti will explain in sequence. This verse explains two aspects of the commentary: the offering and the vow to compose. The first aspect is from "Lord of All" to "obeisance." The second aspect is the remaining parts. Therefore, it is called "obeisance." To whom is the obeisance offered? To the master who pervades all families, such as the Vajra family, the non-dual union of wisdom light, who possesses his own nature. As stated in the Samputa Tantra: "Vajra is said to be emptiness, Mind is only wisdom, Those who have achieved their own nature, Are called Vajrasattva." As it is said, Vajra emptiness reaches the ultimate, and the two, mind and wisdom, merge into one to achieve it. By whom is it explained? By the author of the commentary. How is it explained? With reverence through the three doors of body, speech, and mind. Why is it done? To show oneself as pure, to pacify the obstacles of composing, and to make others happy. The word "te" is used to introduce the remaining parts. After paying homage, what is done? It is called "to explain." What is explained? Having the light of non-dual wisdom union, this is naming the expresser with the main name of the expressed. The tantra says in the Uttaratantra: "Tantra is known as continuity, Continuity has three kinds of changes, Basis and likewise nature, And non-seizure, Distinguished by types, Nature is the cause, Likewise non-seizure is the result, Basis is skillful means and wisdom, The three summarize the meaning of tantra." The meaning of the word tantra is continuous, and among them, nature refers to the nature of a person like a yogi rinpoche, the causal continuum, the basis refers to the four-limbed skillful means continuum of the two stages of approach and accomplishment, the Vajradhara or union body of non-abiding nirvana, which cannot be seized by others, is the result continuum, and Naropa divided the continuum of meaning into three types. Shantipa and Abhayakaragupta explained the causal continuum as the nature of mind. These three, as the expressed, the words used to show them are also called tantra, here referring to the latter part. King is the meaning of the chief of all tantras. It is the body, speech, and mind of all victors, the union of the three secrets of body, speech, and mind. That is a characteristic with three distinctions.
