Offering to all protectors in general. "Such as the righteous," etc., the third is to offer to Brahmins, righteous ones, those of truthful speech, and those who fulfill aspirations. "Co-emergent," etc., the fourth is to offer to all wealth deities in general, and to one's own special deities and protectors, such as co-emergent deities. "Ground owners," etc., the fifth is to offer to the common and individual ground owners who abide primordially. "Seizing mothers," etc., the sixth is to dedicate to the eight classes of gods and demons, such as seizing mothers and those dwelling in pastures. "Harmers," etc., the seventh is to dedicate to all harmers, elemental spirits, obstructing demons, etc. "Six realms," etc., the eighth is to dedicate to all sentient beings of the six realms. "Pretas," etc., the ninth is to dedicate to all pretas, primarily those with flames blazing in their mouths. The tenth is "karmic debts," etc., which is to dedicate to all debts and blood feuds. "Remnant spirits," etc., the eleventh is to dedicate to all elemental spirits who have power over remnants and wash water. The method of offering food is as follows: First, hold the divine food in your hand and recite the mantra "In the immeasurable vast ocean," etc. In the place of argham, insert naivedya. Also, most of the food is food banners, the rays of light from the food arrangement are widely extended, and various kinds of food are arranged everywhere, reciting "Offering to the great lords, the Buddhas and their sons, the food is delightful with a hundred flavors." These are the preliminary steps to be taken. The actual ritual has twelve aspects: taking refuge and generating bodhicitta, purifying the torma, blessing it, inviting the torma guests, offering a seat, establishing clear visualization, reciting dharani mantras, making offerings, explaining the reason for dedication, entertaining the guests, dispatching activities, and speaking words of truth. From the fifth onwards, there is no need to offer a seat or make offerings. In the place of offerings, recite the names of the four tathagatas, and at the end of the words of truth, give the gift of dharma, thus completing the twelve aspects. The first of these is: taking refuge and generating bodhicitta should be done in the same way as the common practice, and especially when entering the generation of bodhicitta, the torma ritual is performed for the benefit of all sentient beings.

One should generate such a mind of enlightenment and cultivate the four immeasurables. Second, the purification of the offering is: dispel the obstructing demons that harm the torma with the Amrita (Tibetan: ཨམྲི་ཏ།) mantra, and contemplate the emptiness of the container and contents of the torma with the Svabhava (Tibetan: སྭ་བྷ་ཝ།) mantra, thereby purifying the impure. Third, the blessing is: reciting the three syllables Om (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Ah), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), first contemplate that all the faults and impurities of the torma are purified, second contemplate that it becomes the nectar of jewels and essence deities, and third contemplate that desires and merits are inexhaustible, filling the entire world. Fourth, inviting the guests of the torma is: make the index fingers of both hands into the shape of iron hooks, cross the arms in front of the chest, shake the hand drum, make the Vajra clasping mudra, add the name of the torma guest, and recite "Vajra Samaja" (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ), contemplate that they come from their respective places to the space in front, and then invite them. Fifth, offering the seat is: recite "Padma Kamala Ye Tvam" (Tibetan: པདྨ་ཀ་མ་ལ་ཡེ་སྟྭཾ), offer the lotus seat, and contemplate that they sit down happily. Sixth, clearly defining the object is: contemplate that the tongues of those torma guests become Vajra paths, from which emanate rays of light that touch the torma, thereby completely rejoicing and satisfyingly enjoying it, this is the samadhi of enjoying the torma. Seventh, reciting the dharani mantra is: recite "Nama Sarva Tathagata" (Tibetan: ན་མཿསརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་), recite twenty-one times to the Guru Three Jewels, recite nineteen times to the Dharma protectors, the righteous ones, and the co-emergent ones, and recite seven times to those below the fifth, thereby purifying. During the recitation of the dharani mantra, cultivate the above-mentioned samadhi of enjoying the torma. Eighth, offering the offerings is: recite the Argham (Tibetan: ཨརྒྷཾ་) and other mantras, and accompany them with the respective hand mudras of offering water and so on, or simply offer water, flowers, incense, lamps, perfume, food, music, etc. through mantras. Ninth, pointing out the object of dedication is: starting from "The torma of offering, form, sound, smell, taste, touch," up to "Possessing all the wealth and enjoyment of gods and humans," recite it verbally, and as you recite, also contemplate in your mind that the offerings of the torma increase inconceivably, and specifically designate that this is the object of dedication.
