It is truly detestable to invite a butcher onto a soft cushion. Even the behavior of unpurified animals, is like arranging the causes for the path of evil destinies. Therefore, regarding the three—causation, action, and result, one must rely on their meaning, as well as the clear light of the empty ground. Experiencing the path of Vajrayana, even if only certainty arises, one rejoices, thinking there is an image of mantra. This, again, through the door of dependent origination, binds the seventy-two thousand channels all at once with the vajra posture. Massaging makes it comfortable, warmth blazes. Purifying the channels and essences by interlacing the fingers. Pacifying the reversing winds with the two arm postures. Manifesting the clinging to reality as the deity's form with the eight postures of vidyadharas. Obtaining the accomplishments of the five families with the five samaya wheels. Gathering all the channels into red with the establishment and rotation of the central channel. Binding all the winds into the wisdom wheel of the crown with Jalandhara. From the door of action, the wind opens the channel mouths, the wheel mudra releases the channel knots, and to eliminate the obstacles of the bindu, the wind and wheel mudra are inseparable. This, again, whether it is straightening the body, contracting, bending, extending and contracting limbs, or the threatening gesture, etc., in whatever aspect, one must tighten part by part from above the knuckles, as if winding thread with a spindle. Do not confuse twisting and contracting, do not confuse shaking the body and trembling the channels, do not confuse the way of looking and the posture, do not confuse the fist and the threatening gesture, do not confuse patting and pressing, these are the key points. From the door of result, because the channels, winds, and bindus can be utilized, from the qualities of entering, abiding, and dissolving in the central channel, the twenty-one channel knots are released, and because the twelve junctures of winds are purified, without relying on speculation about the qualities of the ground and path, one forcibly progresses, and in order to manifest the seven-limbed union body, it is called the path of means. Second, the Vajra Heroic Stance is the key instruction for directly seeing the reality of dharmata, free from the defilements of wind and mind, as it is said in the Uttaratantra: "By stuffing, one obstructs; by pressing, one binds; by holding down, one grasps the essence; by contracting, one clarifies." The meaning of these is combined with vase breath, placing awareness on the meaning of dharmata, and the heroic stance

Having learned these four instructions from the Guru's mouth, from the four ways of merging wind and mind, the subtle signs of smoke and mirages, etc., together with consciousness dissolving into appearance, the metaphor for the cessation of the perception of the five objects is like the moon appearing in the autumn sky. At that time, by the method of binding, appearance dissolves into increase, and the metaphor for the cessation of subtle perceptions is like the rising of the young sun in the clear autumn sky. By the method of abiding in that, increase dissolves into near attainment, and the metaphor for the cessation of very subtle perceptions is like the clear autumn sky being covered by the darkness of the horizon, accompanied by a dark appearance, and memory disappears. By the method of holding, near attainment dissolves into clear light, and the metaphor for the Dharmadhatu being free from elaboration and self-luminous is like the first light of dawn in the autumn sky, free from the three causes of arousal, and is successively called emptiness, very emptiness, great emptiness, and all emptiness. It is called extreme emptiness, the latter being the wisdom of the base, the nature of the clear light of death, so whether it is made clear by the cause of courage, or whether it is the co-emergent arising from bliss and emptiness, it is the same. In the state of wisdom of the metaphor of the clear and deep youthful vase, without modification or adulteration, to abide in equanimity, to become accustomed to it for a long time, that is the essential key to combining with the Dharmakaya of the waking state. This is to be practiced by those who have some experience of realization, not to be taught to beginners. At the end of dispelling obstacles, holding the gentle wind for a long time and becoming familiar with non-conceptual tummo is precious to all. Three, the subsequent order of dedication and aspiration, general and specific. "The nature of the afflicted wind-mind cycle is." This single verse should be recited as much as possible. This was also spoken in the south, to the son of the banner holder, Abhaya, by Rangjung Dorje, the holder of the secret treasury of the Dakinis. From the Longchen Nyingtik, Clarifying the Hidden Meaning of the Vidyadhara's Magical Wheel.
