Purification of Peaceful and Wrathful Evil Destinies, Liberation from the Two Obscurations Related to the Purification Method for the Deceased's Corpse. Purification of Peaceful and Wrathful Evil Destinies, Liberation from the Two Obscurations Related to the Purification Method for the Deceased's Corpse. Herein lies the Purification of Peaceful and Wrathful Evil Destinies, Liberation from the Two Obscurations Related to the Purification Method for the Deceased's Corpse. Homage to the Bhagavan, the one who completely purifies all evil destinies. Here, focusing primarily on the intention of the Dzogchen self-arisen tantras, the burning of Homa practice pills, etc., and the pouring of offering substances, i.e., burning and pouring, or offering the objects to be burned into the mouth of the deity, with the honorific added to the act of giving, the rite of purifying the corpse of the deceased through the practice of burnt offering, Liberation from the Two Obscurations, is composed in three parts: Preparation, Main Practice, and Conclusion. The first part has three sections: Constructing the hearth, placing the corpse, and preparing the offering substances. Constructing the hearth: Generally, there is much to be done with old cremation chambers, so it is not discussed here. If there is a special need, then one should learn elsewhere the method of constructing it, distinguishing between superior and inferior. On a cloth or paper fire cushion, draw four large circles, and from the center, draw three concentric circles, each decreasing by half a finger's height. The base of the inner circle is made blue, and four lotus petals with a center are drawn, starting from the east for the four petals, and rotating clockwise, draw a vajra, a jewel, a lotus, and a crossed vajra. In the center of the middle circle, draw a wheel. The middle circle has a red base, with eight double-layered dots representing the places of the eight male and female bodhisattvas. The outer circle has a white base, with the symbols of the male and female gatekeepers. On top of that, draw the outer circle of the five wisdoms, surrounded by all colors, and mark the four corners with half-moon vajras. Spread it in the cremation hearth. Draw an eight-spoked wheel with a circle on a cloth, and draw water from a vase and cover it over the fire cushion. Second, placing the corpse: According to the special vase practice described in the location, and also with the vase water blessed by dissolving various hundred-syllable mantras, etc., thoroughly soak the corpse, wipe it with a cloth, apply camphor and other fragrant substances and medicinal ointments, and pour them into the openings of the senses such as the mouth. On Chinese paper, with gold or fra-

The good one said: Hūṃ Vajra Dhṛk, Muṃ Dhāteśvarī, Oṃ Jina Jik, Lvaṃ Dveṣarati, Svā Ratna Dhṛk, Maṃ Mohārati, Āṃ Arrolik, Pāṃ Rāgarati, Hā Prajñā Dhṛk, Tāṃ Vajrarati. For the deceased (name), all দুর্গতি (durgati,梵文天城体,दुर्गति,durgati, misery),all পাপ (pāpaṃ,梵文天城体,पाप,pāpa,sin) are purified, Hūṃ Phaṭ. Write this three times without error or omission. Apply honey to the crown of the head, throat, and heart. Bless with the vajra fist. Bless with Oṃ Sarva Vid Vajra Adhiṣṭha Jñāna Samaye Hūṃ. If elaborate, in the gathering of bliss, on all the outer skin of the corpse, arrange all the karmic imprints of saṃsāra. Like this, in the six places, arrange the six seed syllables of the six realms, and in the navel, as the place of arising of existence, in order to burn the karmic imprints of the twelve links of dependent origination, arrange their symbolic representations, or arrange name syllables as appropriate. Likewise, in the Training Tantra, it says: After consecrating the corpse with mantra, bathe it with excellent water, anoint it with the fragrance of recitation, cover it with clothes and ornaments, fumigate it with mantra-consecrated smoke, offer flower garlands, etc. As it is said, for monastics, cover it with Dharma robes, and for householders, cover it with white or red cloth. Tie a garland of flowers on the head. Accompanied by various musical instruments, place it in the cremation chamber and dispel obstacles. Also, on the left and right of the cremation chamber, place ventilation holes, and directly in front of the heart, set up a hole for offering cremation substances, etc., which should be known and prepared when building the furnace. Because people in the world are foolish in their wisdom, if the corpse is stretched out too straight in the furnace, it is difficult to burn, so at the head hole, make the forehead touch and place a support stone. Slightly bend the body so that the essence of the fire can directly contact the front of the heart. Likewise, stretch out both legs straight, and bind oil-soaked cloth strips to the big toes. Especially for those with dropsy, place a pottery vessel filled with clarified butter underneath, with calamus and white sandalwood added, so that the water can also burn, which is a secret instruction for easy cremation. Third, arrange the cremation substances on the right and the offerings on the left. The cremation substances are: Although the wood of the jambu tree and the five types of trees with milky sap are not available in Tibet, cotton, willow, etc., that are suitable, not peeled, and mostly twelve finger-widths long, and
