The Difficult Explanation of the Great Compassion Self-Liberation Ritual, "The Summer's Secret Drum." The Difficult Explanation of the Great Compassion Self-Liberation Ritual, "The Summer's Secret Drum." This is the treatise called The Difficult Explanation of the Great Compassion Self-Liberation Ritual, "The Summer's Secret Drum." Towards the realm of sentient beings, at any time, With eyes of loving-kindness and lotus eyes, For the one who does not prevent rust, I prostrate, revered by all things. Here, in the difficult explanation of the Great Compassion Self-Liberation Ritual, the first of the preliminaries is the meaning of taking refuge. Generally, wandering in this beginningless and endless cycle, henceforth one must act without freedom in the nature of the truth of suffering. Therefore, with the word "we," not merely seeking a temporary refuge for one's own peace, but with the mind of a great being who desires to place all other sentient beings in the state of Buddhahood, the essence of the Three Jewels is also determined as Great Compassion. His body is the Sangha, his speech is the Dharma, his mind is the Buddha, the noble one, like the supreme and abundant jewel of all assemblies, with firm certainty, from the depths of my heart, generating the wisdom of knowing you and intense longing, until the essence of enlightenment, I take refuge. The second is the meaning of generating the mind of enlightenment. First, it is in accordance with generating the supreme mind of enlightenment. Thus, there is no sentient being who has not been a parent, and those parents, in different states of the six realms, are experiencing present suffering and creating the cause of future suffering, which is truly pitiable. Moreover, if one still does not recognize the true face of the Sugata-garbha within one's own continuum, there is never an opportunity for liberation and one can only engage in erroneous actions. Therefore, for them, loving-kindness that desires to benefit, compassion that desires to separate from suffering, joy that hopes they may be happy, and equanimity that benefits equally, that is, the mind endowed with the four immeasurables, and especially placing the burden of great compassion on the mind, with the mind devoid of the four Brahma abodes, single-mindedly wishing to place the mind on the path of great enlightenment, and the actual practice of benefiting, that is, after intensely cultivating the two relative minds of enlightenment, placing the mind on the meaning of suchness itself, is the ultimate mind of enlightenment.

This is the name that has been established. Third, the meaning of the seven-branch offering is in accordance with accumulating merit in three countless eons. Among them, for all the refuges who have passed away and are abiding in the three times of past, future, and present, transforming one's own body into billions, prostrating with great reverence; gathering the supreme and unsurpassed offerings into outer, inner, and secret three types and offering them; the three actions of body, the four actions of speech, and the three actions of mind, above the ten non-virtuous actions in total, for all the faults of self-nature and the vows that have been made, confessing and repenting with strong remorse and the like, with the four powers of remedy; rejoicing in the roots of virtue of self-nature; urging all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to turn the wheel of Dharma; requesting not to enter Nirvana; dedicating the roots of virtue to Bodhi, also because it is solely aimed at benefiting others, and wishing that all may attain the state of the noble ones. Fourth, the meaning of expelling obstacles is the same as subduing the Maras at night. Because the lord of desire realm and all that is included in his retinue and clan are obstacles to attaining Bodhi, therefore, in order to subdue them, from the (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ)(Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Hrih) syllable, instantly visualizing oneself as the wrathful form of Hayagriva Padmavang, which is unbearable for all the demons, and is the executioner who subdues ghosts and demons. Commanding with the three sentences such as "Listen", threatening and tormenting with the three sentences such as "If", and then expelling to the edge of the ocean with the mantra of four (藏文:ཧཱུྃ)(Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) syllables. Fifth, the protection wheel is, in the appearance of relative truth, all the illusions and clinging of appearance and existence are the nature of the vajra ground, fence, tent, and curtain. Even the small gaps between these are filled with vajra dust, so that the wind cannot penetrate, using samadhi as a protective tent, the palace as the container, and the contemplation of the deity's seal as the essence. That is, in the three-circle mandala of body as deity, speech as mantra, and mind as Dharmata, just like mistaking a colorful rope for a snake, it is impossible for the ghosts and demons that appear due to habits and illusions to exist. Therefore, realizing the nature of ultimate truth as unborn is Dharmakaya, unobstructed manifestation is Sambhogakaya, and unceasing display of activity is Nirmanakaya.
