The first is arranging the offerings: As stated in the original treasure text: "During the Yangtik empowerment or tsokhor, create an eight-petaled lotus mandala, or make nine heaps of barley, and arrange tormas on top of them. Generate the palace of the peaceful and wrathful deities." According to these instructions, arrange the symbolic material mandala in a way that is neither too elaborate nor too simple, depending on the circumstances. Distinguish whether it is related to empowerment practices, etc., and arrange the practice materials according to the lineage of visions. In short, prepare all the necessary items completely. The second is dispelling obstacles: After the common accumulation and purification practices and the lineage prayer are performed, purify the obstacles of conceptual thoughts that cling to good and bad, happiness and suffering, in the state of clear light. Since the grasping of reality is not established, it is primordially pure. In the nature of reality, obstacles do not arise. Om Ah Hum Vajra Sarva Krota Sphoṭaya Prataya Utsataya Hum Phet (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཨཱ་ཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་སརྦ་ཀྲོ་ཏ་སྥོཊ་ཡ་པྲ་ཏྭ་ཡ་ཨུ་ཙ་ཏ་ཡ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊཿ). The third is setting boundaries: Hum (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽), phenomena and existence are spontaneously accomplished as the bodies of deities. The peaceful and wrathful deities completely set the boundaries. Sentient beings are spontaneously accomplished as Buddhas. The nature of reality is manifestly set as the boundary. Samsara and nirvana are spontaneously accomplished. Self-awareness is set as the boundary. The five poisons are self-liberated. The five wisdoms set the boundary. The karma fire blazes green and clear. The buddha fire blazes blue and clear. The light of wisdom fire radiates in the ten directions. The secret fire boundary, may obstacles not pass. To all the lands, to the Buddha, Dharma, and noble Sangha, I and all beings respectfully take refuge. Three times. Fifth, generating the mind of enlightenment: With the mind uniting aspiration and action, from today until I attain enlightenment, following the Vidyadharas and princes, manifesting the essence of secret profundity, may I establish all beings in the state of Samantabhadra's five lights. To sentient beings who are the very Buddhas, I confess for taking their lives due to anger, taking what is not given, and causing harm, to the deities of peaceful and wrathful bodies. Sounds are the nature of mantras, due to attachment and anger, I confess for idle talk, harsh words, and slander, to the deities of peaceful and wrathful speech. Thoughts and concepts are the nature of reality, I confess for having harmful thoughts, greed, and wrong views, to the deities of peaceful and wrathful minds. Desirable qualities are self-arisen and self-manifested, I confess for fighting and arguing due to pride, and for making unpleasant and evil words, to the deities of peaceful and wrathful qualities. In the state free from hope and fear, acceptance and rejection, I confess for fighting and arguing due to jealousy, and for accumulating the causes of the uninterrupted hell, to the deities of peaceful and wrathful activities. Seventh, blessing the offering substances: Viewing all phenomena as the great seal of spontaneous perfection from the beginning.
