Thus, these four Brahma-viharas, those who are gentle by nature, if their essence is the Bodhi tree itself, and the light of compassion, these two, when they are not able to combine and integrate, why would they go on the path to Bodhi? The mind of enlightenment that is practiced with faith and desire, its main thing is to be impartial to any side. Those who are closely related to that practice are giving and complete giving, and great giving, first giving food and enjoyment, then giving children and wives, and then giving body and life, and learning the Paramitas through giving. Restraining oneself from evil deeds, and also persuading others to practice good deeds, accumulating good deeds like an ocean, making all efforts to benefit sentient beings, especially the mind of keeping precepts. Enduring the harm of others, enduring asceticism for the sake of the Dharma, and not being afraid of the profound meaning, firmly wearing the armor of patience. From all thoughts and actions, for entering the sea of good deeds, not being timid and not being content, encouraging oneself with the power of diligence. Comfortably dwelling in the solitary forest, the treasures of special qualities such as the eye and supernatural powers, focusing single-mindedly on the meaning of meditation. If one cannot truly distinguish between the two truths of the conventional and the ultimate, then one cannot accomplish the benefit of others, so one should generate the wisdom of thinking and practicing. On the mind of pure higher intention, with the non-conceptual of the path of seeing, perfecting all wisdom, therefore it is called the perfect person, this is Rangjung Dorje's (3rd Karmapa, 1284-1339) ultimate view. The mind of enlightenment that removes obstacles is the merit of the ten bhumis and five paths, it is the nature of the path of no more learning. The vast Dharmadhatu where the mind is exhausted and the Dharma is exhausted is the fruit of Nirvana. After saying this, among them, the one named the skull drum sound of the heavenly bird, after generating faith in the Dharma of the mind, asked: Although there are many who have gained faith, there are very few who have gained certainty. Although there are many who have great physical strength, there are very few men like rabbits. Although there are many who are rich and vast, there are very few of the seven noble riches. Although there are many high footstools, there are very few who have deep realization. Although there are many stories and legends, there are very few that have the meaning of the Dharma. Now, for the assembly of heavenly birds, be satisfied with this teaching of meaning, but from the phenomenon being transformed by conditions, the method of reversing

Please say something else. Having said that, he spoke again: Hey! Here are magicians, even more superior than the good. The illusion of dazzling magic is the deception produced by the contact of the consciousness of the six senses with external objects. What need is there to say for ordinary people? They are truly pitiable! Those whose minds have been changed by sectarian views should understand this. First, starting from a small family, having the concept of a large family for the monastery, these people, although proficient in the scriptures, are controlled by the demon of greed, deceived by the hateful eyes of stinginess, and driven by the army of arrogance, will eventually be destroyed and fall into hell. Similarly, even if living in the forest, if the arrogance increases due to the benefits obtained by relying on it, and becomes proud by being respected, then the merits of practice and realization will dissipate like fog. When the merits of abandonment and realization are perfected, and the time for benefiting beings is ripe, if evil thoughts of competition arise towards the merit of the holy ones and the wealth of great patrons, one will be distracted by many affairs such as storing, guarding, and showing off. Wherever those supreme beings are, relying on the erudition that destroys evil debates, and the sword of wisdom arising from thought that distinguishes between Dharma and non-Dharma, just like mercury dripping on the ground, or a peacock tasting deadly poison, even if fully utilizing the five sensual pleasures, it cannot bind the wisdom that transcends consciousness, do these three types of contemplative wisdom exist in one's own continuum? In particular, the wealth of the family is accomplished by non-merit, and the patron, whether a householder or someone contrary to this, if there is no thought and discernment, will be bound by false arrogance. Similarly, regarding the power and throne of past holy ones, and the permanence of the fruits of giving, etc., if lacking the wisdom of examination and discernment, and enjoying equal treatment, that is also very degenerate. Having silk clothes worth millions, and five hundred-story houses, the Buddha only allows for those who have renounced asceticism, and it is not allowed for others. Therefore, for all things from where they arise, and the laws of dependent origination, and the principle that cause and effect are not deceptive, one must have unwavering conviction.
