语集第五十二品，兔极坚固语，岩山之颈饰。 语集第五十二品，兔极坚固语，岩山之颈饰。 名为兔极坚固语，岩山之颈饰。顶礼殊胜菩萨行。 森林网装饰之处， 具足殊胜菩提心者， 有一对兔夫妇。 与其近处，行为相符的， 有铃音般的天鸟群居住。 它们种族与非种族虽混杂， 却无有互相损害之心， 如圣者的友爱般亲爱。 一时，浓密的雨云使药草地变得不悦， 如黄昏般昏暗时，一只凶猛的豹子，缠绕在蝙蝠的根部，极度习惯于盗贼的行为，使另一只兔子遭受了灾难。 对此，天鸟群也极为惊恐，群体生活的稳固性完全丧失，瞬间便四处飞散。 因此，居住在那片森林的所有飞禽，都变得不悦，发出巨大的喧嚣声。 住在岩山高处的秃鹫，名为寂静自在者，也如被召唤般来到兔子菩萨极坚固的面前，询问其原因。 它向其讲述了以前的故事，寂静自在者也因具有大悲心而说道： “唉玛玛拉，可悲者！ 百千兽群， 比你兔子更弱小， 既无迅速逃脱之力， 也无到达边际之能。 在令人愉悦的伴侣处， 凶猛的野兽寻找机会， 难道没有被痛苦的绳索束缚吗？ 难道没有被刺痛的荆棘伤害吗？ 如果我以我的 力量能够做到， 以能忍受你身体的负担， 坚定地立下誓言， 在岩山的高处， 瞬间便能到达， 给予远离伤害的庇护。 愿意还是不愿意，你考虑一下。” 说完，便像翅膀粘在地上一样坐着。对此，兔子极坚固说道：

Nearby them, living in harmony, Was a flock of divine birds with bell-like sounds. Although they were a mix of different kinds, They were free from the thought of harming one another, And cherished each other like the friendship of saints. Once, when dense rain clouds made the medicinal land unpleasant, And it became as dark as dusk, a cruel leopard, clinging to the base of a bat's wing and well-versed in the ways of thieves, brought misfortune upon one of the rabbits. At this, the flock of divine birds was greatly frightened, and the stability of their communal life was utterly lost, scattering in all directions in an instant. Because of this, all the birds dwelling in that forest became uneasy and raised a great clamor. The vulture named Peaceful Lord, who lived on the high cliff of that rocky mountain, came as if summoned to the presence of the rabbit Bodhisattva Steadfast and asked the reason for this. He recounted the past story to him, and Peaceful Lord, being filled with great compassion, said: "Alas, Mala, pitiable one! Hundreds and thousands of wild animals, Are weaker than you, rabbit, Having neither the power to flee swiftly, Nor the skill to reach the edge. In the presence of a beloved companion, A cruel predator sought an opportunity, Have you not been bound by the noose of suffering? Have you not been hurt by the thorns of pain? If I, with my Power, am able, By enduring the burden of your body, Having made a firm vow, To the high cliff of the rocky mountain, In an instant, I can ascend, And grant refuge free from harm. Consider whether you are willing or not." Having spoken thus, he sat as if his wings were glued to the ground. To this, the rabbit Steadfast said:

说完后，寂静自在者也认识到，没有智慧摄持的慈悲，对他人无益，于是像树木从地上拔起一样，回到了自己的住处。过了一段时间，天上的鸟群也聚集在一起说道：朋友遭遇不幸之时，我们大家也束手无策，心中承担的重担，身体的力量无法承受。唉，我们这些，就算是能用翅膀拍打大象的狮子，就算是能让普通野兽也感到恐惧的森林母老虎，就算是能压制一切力量的空中飞翔之王，也确实因为我们自己弱小，没有力量对抗敌人。像这样，大家因为自己力量弱小而发出悲鸣。山中极其稳固的动物说道：各位尊贵的朋友们，如果没有智慧的力量摄持，即使慈悲心再大，也难以利益他人。想想寂静自在者的行为吧！如果不在敌人身上修习忍耐，其他地方就没有忍耐的对象了。勇敢且大胆的人，能同时利益自己和他人。这一切如果没有证悟无我的见解之精华摄持，众生的痛苦，即使是诸佛用手擦拭也无法消除。说完后，那些天上的鸟，有的获得了希求的信心，有的获得了欢喜的信心。认识到那只兔子是具有智慧的菩萨后，再次问道：智慧、慈悲和证悟无我的差别是什么？请为我们讲述这些各自的功德。这样祈请后，兔子菩萨说道：各位朋友，请听好！在一个名为“昆哲”（ཀུན་དཀྲིས་）的大城市里，有两个富有的夫妇，他们有三个儿子，分别叫做“拉蒙”（རབ་རྨོངས་）、“拉哲”（རབ་དྲེད་）和“拉萨”（རབ་གསལ་）。第一个非常愚蠢，第二个粗暴而凶猛，第三个感官敏锐。

After a while, the flocks of heavenly birds also gathered together and said: When a friend encounters misfortune, we are all helpless, and the burden placed on our hearts cannot be borne by the strength of our bodies. Alas, we, even if we were lions that could strike elephants with their wings, even if we were tigresses of the forest that could make ordinary beasts fear, even if we were the kings of the sky who could suppress all power, we are indeed too weak to have the power to fight the enemy. In this way, everyone cried out in despair at their own weakness. The animal that was very stable in the mountain said: Venerable friends, if you do not have the power of wisdom, even if you have great compassion, it is difficult to benefit others. Think about the behavior of the Lord of Peace! If you do not practice patience on the enemy, there is no object of patience elsewhere. A brave and bold person can benefit both himself and others at the same time. If all this is not grasped by the essence of the view of realizing selflessness, the suffering of beings, even if the Buddhas wipe it away with their hands, cannot be eliminated. After saying this, some of those heavenly birds gained the faith of aspiration, and some gained the faith of joy. Realizing that the rabbit was a Bodhisattva with wisdom, they asked again: What is the difference between wisdom, compassion, and the realization of selflessness? Please tell us about the merits of each of these. After this request, the rabbit Bodhisattva said: Friends, please listen! In a large city called "Kundre" (ཀུན་དཀྲིས་), there were two wealthy couples who had three sons named "Rabmong" (རབ་རྨོངས་), "Rabtre" (རབ་དྲེད་), and "Rabsal" (རབ་གསལ་). The first was very foolish, the second was rude and fierce, and the third was sensitive.
