My flute's sound makes even the deer shake their heads. The inanimate lute, too, utters sweet words. The unpainted peacock feathers steal the brilliance of all colors. A celestial maiden, exceedingly beautiful, has come here uninvited. Like that. Tenth, concise expression is: Hiding the intended meaning, not stating it directly, but expressing it in a subtle way, in a manner that is not quite so. For example: When the moon shyly hides, the garden of Kunda flowers also closes. Even though they are not happy, the sun god in the sky is still beautiful. Eleventh, excellence is: That which is to be expressed cannot be compared to anything that exists in the world, therefore it is expressed with an exceedingly excellent nature. For example: The moons in the world are all beautiful, but they cannot compare to your face. Because of being infatuated with your smiling face, Brahma has also become four-faced. Twelfth, exaggeration or fabrication is: For example, in the world, in order to please the master, even a donkey is called a mule, exaggerating through fabrication, expressing praise that does not conform to reality. For example: Your form is beautiful, your merits are extraordinary, and your words are novel. The sun and moon, luminaries of the four continents, and the nectar-eating beings born from the eyes, in the thirty-one worlds, all praise you with clamorous words, so much so that even Saraswati, the daughter of Brahma, makes a request with a moan. Thirteenth, the ornament of cause is: From the knowable cause, to show the fruit to be proven, or from the generative cause, to show the fruit that is produced. For example: From the corner of your beautiful eyes, new sprouts of joy arise. From the stamen of the young lotus, a honey-like feast of joy gushes forth. Fourteenth, the subtle simile ornament is: Whether preconceived or not, through the relationship of method, with hints and special expressions, to express other meanings. For example: The celestial maiden with enchanting eyes, with a graceful body, uses the guise of a lute to pursue the desire of language.

So. The fifteenth, the ornament of concealment, is: not directly expressing the object to be expressed, but using obscure language to convey it. For example: The moon with its sinister nature, feels dejected because of its inherent nature of waning, and in order to conceal it with beauty, it displays the appearance of a new moon. Like that. The sixteenth, the ornament of sequence, is: the speaker uses the preceding words to open up understanding, and then clarifies the following words in sequence, making them easy to understand. For example: On the face of a beautiful woman, there are eyes like উৎপལ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit: utpala, Romanized Sanskrit: utpala, Literal Chinese meaning: blue lotus), and her cheeks are adorned with vermilion dots. Merely her beautiful face steals the pride of all heroes. Like that. The seventeenth, the ornament of joy, is: merely hearing the content to be expressed, joy immediately arises in the mind, and it is expressed in words. For example: In the garden, she is accompanied by young peacocks, intoxicated by youth, shaking the bracelets on her arms. Her amorous glances seem to steal the heroic spirit of the father of the world. Like that. The eighteenth, the ornament of sentiment, is: using beautiful language to narrate, so that the listener can visualize scenes in their mind that correspond to the narration, such as coquetry, heroism, humor, and other sentiments. For example: A half-drunk face, made even more charming by wine, no matter how heroic it appears, there is no need to be proud. Because it is like a mirror, revealing one's own flaws, like hurrying to a place of frivolity. Like that. The nineteenth, the ornament of splendor, is: hearing the speaker's words, one can feel the speaker's extraordinary splendor, and express it with such words. Anointing with bright red vermilion, the radiance of youthful vigor shines, striking the drum of omniscience, cutting through the net of ignorance. The moment one sees the mudra of the sword of wisdom raised high, his blessing enters the intelligent heart, unable to bear this splendor, the southern pandita Kaula of the black land also fled. Like that. The twentieth, the ornament of enumeration, is: in order not to directly express the thoughts in one's mind, but to make the meaning manifest through other means, such as borrowing other things.
