The Lamp of Manifest Clarity, a written record of the instructions on the Primordial Purity Great Perfection Mahamudra of the Guru's Heart Essence, established by the Three Wisdoms. The Lamp of Manifest Clarity, a written record of the instructions on the Primordial Purity Great Perfection Mahamudra of the Guru's Heart Essence, established by the Three Wisdoms. The Lamp of Manifest Clarity, a written record of the instructions on the Primordial Purity Great Perfection Mahamudra of the Guru's Heart Essence, established by the Three Wisdoms, is present. I prostrate to and take refuge in the lotus feet of the kind guru, the embodiment of all refuges, who possesses great compassion without objectification and is free from defilements. Please grant your blessings! The mind of Samantabhadra, pure from the very beginning, is impartial and unbiased towards all beings. Although it dwells within their continuums, it is obscured by the three obscurations. To clarify this, I light this Lamp of Manifest Clarity. Here, I will explain the instructions that blend the streams of Kama, Terma, and Pure Vision into one, the Guru's Heart Essence, the Great Perfection of Primordial Purity, in the manner of a detailed commentary, like brewing liquor. This will be done in terms of the preliminary practices, the main practice, and the concluding practice. First, there are three preliminary practices: the common, the uncommon, and the special. The first is the common preliminary practice. The root text states: "Contemplate the common themes of leisure and endowment, the difficulty of finding them, impermanence and death, the truth of karma and its results, and the faults of samsara." First, contemplate the difficulty of finding leisure and endowment. The instruction given to the disciple seated before the teacher is as follows: "O son of noble family, to practice the genuine Dharma, one needs a vessel or a support that is complete with all qualities. What is this support complete with all qualities? It is none other than the precious human body endowed with leisure and endowment. Obtaining such a precious human life is extraordinary, It is through accumulating merit in many lifetimes, abandoning the ten non-virtues at the cost of one's life, and embracing the ten virtues without laziness. It is not obtained through accidental good or bad fortune. Therefore, from the perspective of difficulty, it is extremely difficult to obtain. For example, throwing peas at a wall, the chance of them sticking is very slim unless something is blocking them. Similarly, it is extremely rare. The three lower realms are as numerous as the dust of the earth. Obtaining a human body is as rare as the dust on a fingernail. Obtaining a precious human body with wealth and resources is as rare as a particle of dust. That is

I fear that most people with inverted actions, besides creating the cause for bad destinies, practicing Dharma properly is rarer than seeing stars in daylight, and difficult to obtain in terms of numbers. So if you think there are so many people, generally not all human bodies are pure. Especially compared to the bad destinies, the possibility of obtaining a human body is very small. To know this, just observe the number of ants under a stone, and the maggots wriggling inside and outside the body of a fly. Therefore, when such a rare opportunity is well grasped, if you waste your life, you will be very poor in old age. Until now, life has been spent on meaningless things and creating bad destinies, what a regret! What a fear! Saying this in words, and meditating until the breath stops. Second, as an antidote to the eight worldly concerns, cultivate impermanence. Alas! Son of good family. Such a human body is difficult to obtain, and even if obtained, it is extremely impermanent, and will eventually die. Death has no order, regardless of age, and may even occur in the blink of an eye, what can be certain? Look at the changes of the four seasons outside! And look at all your actions from when you woke up this morning until now, and the time, shadows of the sun, etc. From last year to this year, how many people have you seen, heard, and felt die, regardless of age? Haven't they all disappeared without a trace, like a stone thrown into a well? No matter how long life is, it will not last more than a hundred years or so. And now you are in your twenties, in your prime, most of our lives have been exhausted, and it can be said that we have reached the edge of death. The only thing that is beneficial to this is the supreme Dharma, and there is no other way. In the past, striving to fulfill the desires of this life was truly a famous madman! The talk of this life, benefits, fame, bluffing, courage, and strength are of no use at the time of death. Just like pulling hair out of butter, you must go with karma and habits. Alas! From today onwards, if you plan to live long and are controlled by the eight worldly concerns, without rotting inside, but do not do anything for the next life, what is this? Saying this in words, and placing the mind in a painful state like livestock being driven into a slaughterhouse, trembling, thinking in the heart, until the breath stops. Third, thinking about the law of cause and effect: Alas! Son of good family.
