It carries the nature of sthapa, gyuwa, dangwa, and jukpa, and makes the mind stream go everywhere. As the tantra says: "This is the great wind element, it is the vehicle of the three consciousnesses." That's it. Also, from the point of view of function, dividing it into ten winds will be explained below. Here, if the function of the four is said to be arbitrary, then at the time of the first birth, consciousness rides on the wind and enters the womb, and stays relying on sperm and blood, so consciousness also faints. At that time, it dwells in the nature of the wisdom wind. Then, starting from the life wind, the ten winds are gradually born, making the body grow. After growing, the moving wind does the work of not rotting until it is alive. Also, with the characteristics of rising and entering, it generates various memories, thoughts, and feelings. In the path stage, the work of yoga is also done by it, and at the time of death, these winds stop, so it is called the extinction of existence itself. Also, in general, the ten winds each do their own work from their own positions, and they are all the nature of the wind. For the time being, the distinction between life and karma winds is divided into three combinations of entering, dwelling, and rising, as the tantra says: "The three are the three combinations, and they dwell in three distinctions." That's it. Among them, the movement of life is only the nostrils. As it is said: "From the movement of the nostrils, it is the movement of life and karma, and the movement at any time is called life." That's it. Consciousness wind is the nature of wisdom wind. Ultimately, from the point of view that it does not move, it is said to be dwelling. But as shown in the Kalachakra, it runs between the thirty-two places of being and non-being. It is also said in the Vajra Garland that it runs between the four seats. The sky wind now runs in a pervasive way, and the actual running is only at the time of death, in a swelling way. As the garland says: "Now it runs in a pervasive way." And so on. Among them, the wisdom wind dwells in the center of the dhūti (藏文) channel butter lamp wick, from there

From the power of the two channels of retention, arise the two, life and effort. It arises from the petals of the four chakras, gradually appearing in the twenty-four internal places, etc. Due to the power of the life-force wind, it flows through the nostrils. Since the inner and outer points are the same, externally there are things like sticks or clocks, and distinctions like the twelve changes, day and night, dates, and constellations. Similarly, internally, there is a fixed number of 21,600 breaths in one day and night. As it is said: Twenty thousand and one thousand, Likewise, the number is six hundred, Day and night it certainly flows. So it is. How does such a flow become the path when it is grasped? For example, just as camphor stays when the wind is bound, by binding the life-force wind that flows in the nostrils, consciousness is seized and non-conceptual samadhi arises. When it is seized by skillful means and instructions, counting the three, arising, entering, and abiding, also becomes Vajra recitation, thereby eliminating obscurations. The gates of samadhi, such as elimination, are infinite, and the four activities are accomplished. Ultimately, when all karmic winds cease and the wisdom wind is manifested, all the qualities of the ground and path are completely perfected, therefore it is called the path of skillful means. Thus, the 21,600 movements are used as the path through the four, rising, entering, abiding, and all combined, which is called the stopping of life-force and effort. Among them, making rising the path has three instructions for exhaling: Stopping effort and exhaling from the life-force, Increasing strength and exhaling from both, Exhaling from the mouth with sound. Making entering the path has two instructions for filling: Stopping effort and filling from the life-force, Filling from the mouth without sound. Making abiding the path is being skilled in the method of placing the life-force on top of the downward-clearing and joining it with the central channel, thereby dissolving the pure rasa wind into the central channel, dissolving through the sequence of letters, and meditating based on the four key points of the sevenfold sequence. Thus, in accordance with the four key points of the wind, internally there are five types such as the churning wheel of the churning stick that do not rely on the chakra, or one, two, four, five, or six, etc. that rely on the three channels and five chakras.

Through the yoga of the channels in accordance with the respective tenets of each tantra class, practicing based on the battle of bindus and the instructions of the seven speeds such as the four yogas and the wheel of fire, the knots of the channels are untied by relying on the winds. Bodhicitta is melted by relying on tummo. By relying on trulkhor, all channel locations are pervaded by bodhicitta, thereby dissolving the movement of letters. The view of self-arisen wisdom arises. Moreover, from the aspect of possessing the obscuration of knowledge, there are the four self-arisen dhyanas such as samadhi or Srelzhi.
