The five lines, or five walls, represent the five wisdoms, which from the inside out are: blue, green, red, yellow, and white. All five are as clear and transparent as a rainbow. The four mirror-like wisdoms are in the form of protrusions. As a symbol of the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, the central round vase covers the entire expanse of the sky, and the rain cover is the upper roof of the pure chamber, that is, the inverted bowl above the arrow shaft, which is placed to press down on the sky, forming a double-layered roof. On top of the center and the four directions are five-pronged vajras, and the tips are adorned with vajras of luminous wisdom and precious jewels. Above the five walls is a yellow pennant symbolizing the immutability of mind. The precious arrow shaft of great compassion hangs outward in the form of a small roof, and from the ends of the beams hang nets and half-nets of the seven branches of enlightenment, adorned with jewels and pearls, accompanied by the movement of the sun, moon, and wind. To press down on the ends of the beams, stupas are arranged in tiers, symbolizing the inconceivable nature of reality.\nThe wheel driven by deer, symbolizing non-conceptualization, represents the nature of the four noble truths. In its center is erected the precious umbrella of the Dharmadhatu, and on the four corners are victory banners. From the neck of the long banners hang precious bells, chimes, garlands, tassels, strings of jewels, strings of suns and moons, jewel-adorned yak-tail fans, and various ornaments of gods and humans, connected from the central vajra jewel top to the platforms, producing beautiful sounds. These symbolize the five faculties and the five powers. Outside the structure, desire-realm cloths shine in the color of great attachment, and many offering goddesses emanate inexhaustible clouds of desirable offerings, which symbolize the non-abandonment of desirable objects in the Mantrayana path, but rather enjoying them as ornaments. Below, the lotus petals, fringes, and leaf patterns are displayed in their own colors on the sun and moon seats." } ] ============================================================

In the open space that appears as an ashen land, or around the perimeter that appears as a green field, there are eight great charnel grounds representing the eight consciousness aggregates, and eight accomplished masters representing the eight naturally arising wisdoms. Similarly, the eight fires are the eight complete burnings, the eight trees are the nature of the eight afflictions, the eight waters are the eight paths of purification, the eight gods are the eight doors of accomplishment, the eight nagas are the eight collections of qualities, the eight farmers are the eight accumulations of merit and wisdom, the eight inner pillars are the eightfold noble path, and the five cushions are the five poisons purified in their own nature. In short, from the time of impure sentient beings, the aspects of faults and qualities exist in pairs. For example, the five afflictions and the five wisdoms are symbolized by transforming them into purifying practices and purifying results. At the ground level, they are symbolized as being pervasive in the realm of sentient beings, like butter in milk and sesame oil in sesame seeds. When combined with the path, it is the nature of the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. The four doors are the four immeasurables. The steps to enter them, or the stables of the cause, are the six perfections. The stables of the result are the four mindfulnesses. The four protuberances are the four right abandonments. The four ornaments, such as wheels, are the four legs of miraculous power. The walls are the five faculties. The father pillars, half-nets, arrow shafts, rafters, and five purlins are the five powers. The five seats, such as lions, and the two suns and moons, are the seven branches of enlightenment. The eight pillars are the eightfold noble path, symbolizing the aspects of qualities from the path of accumulation to the path of meditation. When combined with the result, it is combined with the qualities of the Buddha ground. The ten powers are the elephant throne, the four fearlessnesses are the lion throne, the ten powers are the peacock throne, the miraculous powers are the horse throne, the individual wisdom and so on, the unattached to all knowable objects, the Shangs-shang bird throne, the walls of the five wisdoms, the inexhaustible body, speech, and mind, the rays of the wheel of ornaments, the umbrella that protects beings, the unsurpassed crest of the eighteen unmixed qualities of the Buddha, and so on, symbolize the meaning of the qualities of the ultimate result. Such a mandala exists at the ground level.
