Because there is no regret due to not being stained by defilements, and all the special things that should be obtained are obtained manifestly, it is also known by the name of obtaining the first ground. When one's own mind is filled with jealousy, even if one possesses perfect wealth and enjoyment, one will not experience even a trace of joy in being unable to bear the prosperity of others. Here, all sentient beings are happy and joyful, and because one develops a special joy in all practices of the nature of Dharma, both directly and indirectly, one's own wealth is stable, and the stream of peaceful thoughts is continuous, so that there are no thorns in meditation, and one experiences the special joy that arises from it. The place of jealousy is purified, and one gains mastery over the wisdom of accomplishing activities, so that the activities and deeds of the emanation body are naturally accomplished, namely: joy purifies the place of jealousy, the wisdom of accomplishing activities is the emanation body, and the natural accomplishment of activities is supreme. Thus it is said. Because of mastering equanimity, self and other, enemies and friends are equal. There is no pride, and deep and peaceful realization arises. There is no ignorance, and the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu and the Svabhavikakaya are attained. Because equanimity reaches its culmination, attachment arises towards some, and anger arises towards others, so it is impossible to generate equanimity towards all sentient beings. Holding enemies, friends, and those in between as three different objects, one generates equanimity only towards beneficial objects. In this way, pride in praising oneself is naturally suppressed, and falling into the two extremes of holding to existence or clinging to non-existence, the nature of mind cannot be balanced in the middle way. Naturally, a special realization of equanimity arises in the profound, peaceful, and non-elaborate realm. When this arises, the nature of ignorance, the realm of delusion, is purified, and the way to attain the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu and the Svabhavikakaya. Through equanimity, through great equanimity, pride and ignorance are purified. Equality is the lord of the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, the body of enlightenment vajra. These were explained from the Lotus Crown. Now, praising the qualities of the four immeasurables, completely summarizing the view of one's own tradition, namely the simultaneity of cause and effect, and then concluding: Such are the qualities of the four immeasurables, cause and effect are extremely

Is not deceived. The sectarian tenets of other evil paths are the cause of samsara. Without relying on paths that contradict emptiness and compassion. Pure liberation is the path of the noble sons of the conquerors. May we become accustomed to the virtue of pacifying turmoil. This is the unique path of liberation, the footprint of all the victorious ones, where both cause and effect are equal in essence. As it says in the Garland of Jewels Sutra: Whoever cultivates the four immeasurables, is regarded by all the Sugatas. All qualities are immeasurable, surpassing even the path of space. Thus, most causal vehicles consider the two accumulations to be the cause or seed for generating the two bodies. In mantra, the two obscurations to be purified are considered to be the nature of the two accumulations, washed away by profound skillful means and wisdom, and therefore are in accordance with the sutras in cultivating the essence of emptiness and compassion. In particular, since the meaning of the final turning of the wheel, the element of self-nature, is inherently pure and possesses primordial qualities, it is not desired to be newly arisen, as it appears to be the qualities of the path. And that and the tantric teachings, that all beings abide in the nature of the primordial mandala of reality, are one in the ground, and the path is also the same in essence as the two accumulations and skillful means and wisdom. And since the result is also inseparable from the body and wisdom, the explanations of the supreme seers who appeared in ancient times were made both internally and externally. As it says in the Commentary on the Upper Ground: These four immeasurables are the path to liberation, otherwise it is a wrong path. How is it wrong? The paths of the tirthikas and shravakas are not like this. Thus, the view of the path of the tirthikas is connected with the inverted self and so on, and therefore it is a path completely devoid of wisdom. Since this is the case, they have no liberation. The shravakas do not have great compassion, and therefore it is a path devoid of skillful means. Therefore, they will be absorbed in one-sided nirvana. Here, pure liberation, the path of the bodhisattva, is endowed with both skillful means and wisdom, and therefore is of the nature of pacifying turmoil. Therefore, they will be absorbed in non-abiding nirvana. Thus, by the power of wisdom one does not fall into samsara, and by the power of skillful means one does not fall into nirvana. As it says in the Dharma:

From the Samyag-samgraha-sutra: Bodhisattvas who see things as they are truly enter into great compassion for sentient beings. They think, 'I shall accomplish this door of samadhi, which sees all dharmas as they truly are, for all sentient beings.' Impelled by that great compassion, they perfect the intention of superior morality, superior mind, and superior wisdom, and manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Thus it is said. Therefore, bodhisattvas, although they see the ultimate truth, do not abandon the conventional truth. Because they do not abandon the conventional truth, they engage in accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings, with great compassion going before. From "The Treasury of Precious Qualities, the Rain of Joy," which is called the collection of the four immeasurables, it is the commentary on the seventh chapter. Commentary on the seventh chapter.
