Although they tried to dissuade her with words, the rock ogress could not be turned back. So, the monkey, with a compassionate mind, traveled to Potala through miraculous power. As the noble one granted the monkey's request, the monkey stayed in its former place. First, there were baby monkeys, and then gradually they transformed into humans. These needed to be divided into four groups: the Se clan, the Mu clan, the Dong clan, and the Tong clan, these four being the Miao clans. Some say that adding the Dra and Dru clans makes six clans. They gradually ruled over twelve small kingdoms and fourteen small tribes, but no one emerged to rule over the whole. Therefore, it was thought that it would be difficult to spread the Buddha's teachings. So, the emanation of the lord, said to be a son descended from the Licchavi clan, was born to an Indian king with a million soldiers. This son, whose eyes could cover the earth, whose teeth were as white as jade conch shells, and who had a wheel mark on the palm of his hand, was an extraordinary being. They suspected him to be an emanation of a god or demon, so they abandoned him. He went to the top of Lhari Gyangto Mountain and looked around, saying, "Houses and land, fields and land, the land is good." Like this, he possessed the complete signs of the ten virtues and came to Yarlung. He considered Shampo Gangri to be very suitable for practice and came to Tsangtang through the heavenly ladder on Lhari Rolpo Mountain. The herders saw him and asked, "In reality, who are you?" He replied, "Tsenpo." When asked where he came from, he pointed to the sky, and people recognized him as a god. They said, "This person will be our master." So they carried him on their necks and enthroned him, and he became known as Nyatri Tsenpo, the earliest of the monarchs. It is said that the Bonpos came down from the rope. After twenty-seven generations, Lha Thothori Nyantsen appeared. He built the earliest castle, Yumbu Lhakang. At that time, the moment had come for the great drum of truth of the omniscient prophecy to sound. At the same time as the rain of scriptures fell on the palace of King Zai, the Sutra Pitaka "Zamatog" was carried away by the wind and seized by non-humans in the sky. Therefore, during the reign of this king, the door of auspiciousness for the spread of Dharma in Tibet, first at the top of Yumbu Lhakang, appeared the Pangkor Chakgyapa, the golden stupa, the Sutra Pitaka "Zamatog," and the Cindamani carved bowl, which fell on the top floor of the palace, initiating the holy Dharma. Although they did not know what they were, they regarded them as miraculous and treasured them.
