The Treasure of Qualities, called the Joyful Rain. The Treasure of Qualities, called the Joyful Rain. The chapter on distinguishing leisure and endowment, which is the first chapter. The Treasure of Qualities, called the Joyful Rain, is complete. In Sanskrit: Guṇa Kośa Ratna Kṛṣṇāma. In Tibetan: The Treasure of Qualities, called the Joyful Rain. Homage to the Three Jewels. With the letter of fame of the three jewels, making the pearl vines very happy, the faces of the daughters of demons, like a garden of white lotuses, showing the power of the Buddha to those who do evil deeds. 1. The treasure that purifies the qualities of the supreme minds, if it is firmly held as one, then like the waves breaking through the bamboo, this noisy sound, although it does not boast of beauty, is suitable to be gentle in order to rely on speaking the Dharma. 2. From beginningless time, those who are infected with the plague of birth, old age, sickness, and death, with the taste of the great medicine of nectar, how should I admonish those who abandon the Dharma that is in their hands? 3. Having been friends for a long time in the wilderness of samsara, suffering with heads and limbs, those who are secretly transformed by future suffering, still crave the happiness of the heavens and are ignorant. 4. Those who have lost their minds will fall again from here, the three lower realms and the gods without perception, the borderlands without complete faculties, those with wrong views, without the appearance of the Buddha, wandering in self. 5. Not seeking an opportunity for a moment, on the ground burned with iron, with the cruel punishment of weapons again and again, hell beings who cannot die even if their lives are taken, are still caught in the net of evil deeds of anger. 6. What need is there to say about the poverty and suffering of the pretas who cannot even find pus, blood, and feces? Rivers and trees dry up quickly when they are looked at, and the suffering of burning intestines is endless. 7. Due to the power of obscurations, there is no certainty of lifespan. Animals eat each other, hunters take lives with cruel vows, and those who tame and control them suffer with whips. 8. What is the use of being born in that place? Living a very long life with trivial matters, without distinguishing the opportunity for sorrow, the formless realm and the gods without perception who obstruct hearing and thinking. 9. Looking back in confusion at the time of death, therefore there is no leisure. Although relying heavily on the vehicle of two feet, their consciousness is merit.

Because it is not the time (for liberation). The barbarians who are bound and governed, 10, Wander in the forest of extremely chaotic acceptance and rejection. Alas! The mutes whose sense faculties' vows are broken, even if they meet the guides of the noble ones, Like the cacophony seized by the Brāca ritual, 11, Grieve in the great nomadic monastery where language is incomprehensible. Alas! It is the great ship that crosses the ocean of birth, Having obtained the waving flag of the Vijñānavāda, again, Not rejoicing in the coming of the Buddha, 12, Holding wrong views, tormented by demons. Alas! It is the kalpa abandoned by the Buddhas, Falling into the dark abyss, again, Although striving to rise, it is the non-path that is constantly followed, 13, In the miserable fall, going from lower to lower. Alas! In the place where sins and sufferings rage like a storm, Tired and frightened, with turbid merits, The eight unfree states that are jealous of the Dharma, 14, After thinking, make your leisure meaningful. Alas! In the central pure land, the senses and, The limbs are perfectly complete, and faith arises in the place of faith. The wish-fulfilling tree that has not been destroyed by the flowers of karma and sins, 15, Becoming a human is extremely rare. Alas! The Victorious Udumbara flower has come into the world, Opening the flower of the Dharma, the garden of the teachings, Abiding without decay, and truly entering, 16, Those who rely on the cool shade of the holy ones are even fewer. Alas! Because the wish-fulfilling tree that one possesses, and, The Udumbara flower that is possessed by the influence of others, The ten perfections that possess both qualities, 17, Accompanied by the eight unfree states, this will not be found again. Alas! Why is it like the turtle's neck and the yoke, The number is like the stars of day and night of humans and animals, 18, So many, gradually knowing the pretas and, The hell beings. Alas! Therefore, when holding the great ship of leisure, If the ocean of suffering has not been crossed, Then like the guest on the Dharma path, seeking and looking for opportunities, 19, Hearing is in vain, and heading towards the wrong path. Alas! From the "Treasury of Qualities, Joyful Rain", the chapter on the classification of leisure and endowment, the first chapter ends. The chapter on impermanence, the second chapter. The four characteristics of existence, stability and change, arising, dwelling, decay, and destruction, Also measured by the nature of kalpas, Also the world of destruction, belittled by name, 20, When cutting off, seven suns and one water will come. Alas! The teacher of gods and humans, the Vajra body.
