The teachings of the Buddhas also have a sequence of rise and fall, without limit, our bodies are like bubbles, and the mind is the nature of deluded appearances, so there is no constant state even at the beginning and end of the day and night, as Ashvaghosa said: If the bodies of the Buddhas, adorned with excellent marks and signs, even the Vajra body is impermanent, then what need is there to mention other sentient beings, like a water tree without essence. Thus, Delightful Lord said: Form and enjoyment, hearing, and discipline, etc., are not permanent, whoever is free from desire is also like that, never seen to be permanent. Like this. The second is: The burden of abiding for eons after achieving meditation, becomes meaningless, seeing death. Even Brahma, Ishvara, Sukhavati, Chakravartin, etc., do not consider the means of escaping from the Lord of Death, Mara. Those who have achieved worldly meditation, from the peak of existence, can remain for eighty thousand great eons, and gradually down to the gods of the fourth Dhyana, those who live from eon to eon also follow their karma and inevitably have the state of death, so Brahma and Ishvara, Vishnu and Indra," }, { "original_tibetan": "འཇིག་རྟེན་སྐྱོང་བ་བཞི་དང་། དྲང་སྲོང་ཆེན་པོ་རྒྱས་པ་དང་། གྲོག་མཁར་བ་སོགས་རིག་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་དང་། སྤྱན་དང་མངོན་ཤེས་མངའ་བ་རྣམས་དང་།", "chinese_translation": "四大天王,以及大仙广增和蚁城等,具有明智之功德,以及天眼与神通者等,", "english_translation": "the four guardians of the world, and the great sage Brihaspati and Indraketu, etc., who possess the qualities of intelligence, and those who possess the divine eye and clairvoyance, etc.," } ] ============================================================

Those who possess the four continents, such as the universal monarch, are completely pervaded by the fame of merit and glory. Those who are proud and arrogant due to their superior wealth, even if they are not satisfied, do not consider the means of liberation from death. In the Vinaya Pitaka, it says: Monks, look at these declining and meaningless riches! In my previous recollection of samsara, I experienced countless rulers such as Brahma, Indra, and the guardians of the world, but even without satisfaction, I passed away and fell into the lower realms. In the cloud letter called "Eliminating Sorrow," it says: If one always clings to permanence with inverted perception, then beings, even from the peak of existence, are drawn by the noose of death, just as an elephant is drawn by a rope. Brahma enjoys the bliss born from meditation, but Brahma also falls from the realm of Brahma, like the wind on the edge of water. Indra and the thousand, and the hundred universal monarchs, will all face death, like a burning candle extinguished by the wind. The great sages possess five supernormal powers, but even if they can travel far in the sky, they cannot reach a place where there is no death. The third is: The heavenly medicinal meadows are lush and pleasing to the eye, and the hunter with a club in his hand repeatedly thinks of the lives of beings, thinking only of this matter. In this way, the happiness and perfection of the heavenly realms, like a pleasant medicinal meadow in the three months of summer, for beings like beasts who rely on the constant notion of permanence, their lives, like hunters hidden in the valleys, the executioners of the Lord of Death holding clubs, from birth to death, are trapped by various means, like being woven into a net of death. Moreover, kings, fire, thieves, wild animals, weapons, poisons, cliffs, severe epidemics, collapses, curses, flesh-eaters, dakinis, incubus and succubus, and other powerful demons, as well as sudden nomadic messengers, and those skilled in the use of weapons, day and night, are focused on taking the lives of beings.
