In the perfect self-nature, on this land, the medicinal region of Domey (Tibetan place name), a wondrous lotus of excellent marks and signs blooms like a magical display. Although born into this world, he has abandoned any trace of being touched by even the slightest fault. Just as a white lotus grows from water, from the moment he possessed the nature of purity, he spent his time inseparable from the conduct of the noble ones, engaging in the three practices of listening, contemplation, and meditation. He perfected the qualities of being learned, disciplined, and virtuous. His activities of teaching, debating, and writing far surpassed the realm of ordinary minds, and only realized beings could fathom them. He truly attained mastery over these qualities. In short, he is a Mahāpaṇḍita who has perfected the five sciences and their branches, a supreme jewel on the crown of all who strive in discipline, a noble Arhat, the sole protector of all Bodhisattvas, and the foremost among the brave and great princes. He is the helmsman of the ocean of Vidyādharas, the Vajradhara (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रधर, Sanskrit Romanization: vajradhara, Chinese literal meaning: Vajra Holder). He is the king of all beings. Having primordially attained the state of the Great Transference of the Rainbow Body, he is the embodiment of all Siddhas, inseparable from the glorious Great Master of Oddiyana and Paṇchen Vimalamitra. Not just partially, but carrying the complete teachings of the Buddha through the fourfold path, he became one of the ten great pillars supporting the tradition of teaching and practice in the Land of Snows (Tibet), as well as the eight chariots guiding the lineage of practice and their followers. All the rivers of these traditions flow into and converge in this single great ocean of Dharma. Therefore, he is a master of both Mantra and Philosophy, a lord of speech, and the common guru of all. He is a Vidyādhara of the Nyingma (Ancient) school's scriptures and treasures, a spiritual friend of both the old and new Kadampa (Precepts) schools, a holder of the teachings of the glorious Sakya, Ngor, and Tsar traditions, a wise and accomplished master of the four major and eight minor Kagyu (Lineage) schools, the source of the glorious Shangpa Kagyu, and the place of liberation for all the lineages of Zhi Cho (Pacifying). He is the confluence of all the instructions of Jowo Je (Atisha), the lord of the complete teachings, and the master who subdues the three realms. This supreme being, solely through his compassion and grace, has made the essence of the unbiased teachings and practices shine most clearly in this present age. How astonishing! It is like hiding a bunch of fresh Utpala flowers in the earrings of a discerning and beautiful woman. What is most unique and extraordinary is that he is an appointed one endowed with the seven precious treasures.
