When the elements of water meet, etc., at an auspicious time when the stars and constellations are in harmony, go to a lake or spring where the nagas are known to reside, and perform bathing and cleansing with great care. Then, with a good intention to cause rain to fall, fill a clean silver or clay vase with naga medicine and milk, adorn the mouth with naga tree branches, and arrange offerings and tormas in front of it. "To the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, the supreme ones," etc., recite the refuge and bodhicitta three times. Meditate on the four immeasurables, "May all sentient beings have happiness," etc. स्वाहा（藏文） स्वाहा（梵文天城体） svāhā（梵文罗马拟音） Svaha. From emptiness, instantly transform yourself into the noble Avalokiteśvara, whose right hand pours a stream of nectar in the gesture of supreme generosity, and whose left hand holds a white lotus in the gesture of granting refuge. To the right is the noble Mañjuśrī, his right hand brandishing a sword, his left hand holding a scripture at his heart. To the left is Vajrapāṇi, his right hand holding a vajra to his heart, his left hand resting a bell on his hip. From that complete transformation, a white naga demon appeared, as white and clear as the sun rising on a snow mountain, radiating light. Peaceful, smiling, and respectful in nature. With one face and two arms, adorned with a diadem of nine snake heads, and a wish-fulfilling jewel on the crown of the head. The two hands are held together in prayer at the heart, holding a precious jewel between them. The upper body is in the form of a deity, while the lower body is a coiled snake tail. Surrounded by hundreds of retinues similar to itself, and also by countless types of nagas and earth lords. Visualize yourself as the three family protectors, from the seed syllable and mantra garland at the heart, rays of light emanate, possessing the nature of nectar, as white as the moon, and with a cool touch, immeasurable. Touching the nagas and earth lords with their retinues, their minds are stimulated. The snake tails churn the ocean with a "chili-li" sound, causing violent waves to surge. The earth, the intermediate space, and all the realms of the sky are filled with mist and dark rain clouds. Red lightning flashes and thunder roars. From the sense organs and pores, vapor of nectar rises in the form of mist. From all of that, immeasurable streams of rain fall with a "hur-hur dir-dir" sound, causing all plants, forests, crops, and green vegetation to flourish exceedingly. At the end of the essence mantra of the three family protectors, add: oṃ nāga le le hūṃ.
