In short, since Gar Tongtsen (འགར་སྟོང་བཙན) seized the territory, more than one thousand one hundred and eighty years have passed until now. The Lhakhang (ལྷ་གྲལ) of the prominent family has not declined, the noble status has not diminished, the family lineage comes from the gods, and the source of the water flow can be traced back to the snow mountain, possessing endless praiseworthy deeds of liberation. Like this, starting from telling the origin of the sacred Dharma, adding a little historical story also has its special necessity. As it is said in the *Kalpavyuha Sutra* by Glorious Hero: "These virtuous people who have become the mark of fame will follow the path of the Sugatas. Even those who have no faith in their hearts will generate faith, and bring great joy with the story of the flourishing Dharma." The sutra also says: "Do not let those who rejoice in the stories of food and wealth generate joy. After obtaining the most supreme wealth of human beings, people should tell each other the stories of the Dharma." Just like these special teachings, mentioning a little about the history of those rulers who cherish and protect the precious teachings of the Victorious Ones, is also like what the sutra says, telling the story of the Shakya clan, the most supreme of all clans in the world, can obtain great merit, and as the great masters of Tibet say, telling the Khon family (འཁོན་གྱི་རིགས) of Manjushri (འཇམ་དབྱངས) can also obtain great merit, I am also following these precedents to pray. After they have completed the main text of the general narration, if speaking according to specific circumstances, from the node of "therefore," empowerment, Dharma teaching, New Year celebrations, offerings, etc., according to their respective themes, various special circumstances are stated in detail or briefly. Like this, to all the high, medium, and low assemblies gathered here today, I have completely presented to your ears, in an appropriate manner, the requests about general and specific matters, including the main and secondary contents. Again, I pray that the supreme incarnation Rinpoche, who is the root of the teachings, or this venerable lama, together with the Khenpo, Acharya, and Sangha, may their lives and lotus feet be as stable as a hundred kalpa ocean, and may the source of benefit and happiness—the omniscient Victorious One's teachings

In general, for all Rinpoches, and in particular, here establish special debates of their respective schools of thought. May the teachings of the second Buddha of the degenerate age, the great compassionate master and his lineage, flourish, spread, and remain long in all directions. Through this power, may the political power and authority of all great patrons of the teachings increase more and more, and in order to bring about vast and perfect auspicious appearances in the world, conclude with auspicious prayers. Recite "The teacher came into the world," etc., one verse or whatever is appropriate, then take a seat and begin the process of business. Again, it is said: The excellent words, heavy with the essence of the nectar of the sacred Dharma, resound like thunder in the clouds; Urged on by the beauty of the spring of wisdom, the fortunate seekers, like flocks of peacocks; A new elixir of the ears descends, transforming into a joyful dance; May everything be heavy with the supreme burden of the all-knowing. This was quickly written in a very concise manner at the Tharpa Tse monastery of the auspicious Ewam Choden by the Shakya monk, the yogi Khyentse Wangpo, who enjoys telling history, at the special request and urging of some seekers. Later, some explanations were also made. If you want to see the lotus of words blooming more widely than this, then on other occasions, enjoy the nectar of the good words I have spoken like the rising sun! May there be auspiciousness always). The discourse mainly about the origin of the holy Dharma - the nectar of the ears of the fortunate.
