Pages 323 to 400. Pages 323 to 400. A concise account of the lineages of the new and old secret mantras that have appeared in the land of Tibet, called "The Wonderful Lotus Garden," is presented herein. Namo Guru Manjughosaya. Homage to the Guru Manjughosa) To the youthful Manjushri Lama and the assembly of realized masters without sectarianism, Whose lotus feet are indivisible, I constantly pay homage with the crown of a hundred faiths. Here, in the place where the wisdom gaze of the noble Avalokiteshvara is particularly present, In this land where the earth is as high as the crown of an elephant and surrounded by layers of snow, There have been many scholars and accomplished beings who have upheld their traditions. Initially, the upholders of the early translation of secret mantras were the secret Great Nyingma during the early dissemination of the teachings. Since there were no other different religious systems besides the secret Great Nyingma in the mantra aspect during the early period of the teachings, both the offering places and communities flourished greatly, and the teaching and practice were extremely widespread. However, during the later period of the teachings, many different religious systems and philosophical schools arose. Due to the force with which they glorified their respective traditions, one gradually faded into obscurity. Nevertheless, because the compassion and activity of the Victorious Ones are immeasurable, From Upper Ngari to Lower Gyaltsam, and from Southern Mon to the land of the Mongols, it seems that there is no place that is not covered by countless monasteries, large and small. Who could dare to describe them all? However, to mention a few of the more famous and currently flourishing religious traditions, Firstly, there are the upholders of the Nyingma Kama tradition. The mantra kings So, Zur, and Nub: So Yeshe Wangchuk, Zur Sherab Jungne. It is said that Ma and his companions made friends with them. Among the so-called three, Zur's seat is in Ukpalung and the valley of Changtakma near the golden one. Sang-ngak is located east of Shigatse. Cholingpa and others were very prosperous in the past, but nowadays, only the lineage of Sang-ngak Cholingpa remains unbroken, and there is not much teaching or practice. Furthermore, in terms of terma, there is the Upper Terkha. The seat of the Lord Nyang Rinpoche, Lakho Drak Shar Mrawo Jok, the lineage of which is: Initially, Trisong Namtrul Terton.

It was established by the great translator Nyang Nyima Oser. Then his son Drogon Namkha Pal, his son Lodan Sherab, his son Sangdak Dudul, his son Dode Senge, his son Padma Dondrup, his son Jampal Norbu, his son Kunga Gyaltsen. Around this time, the lineage split into many branches. During this period, Mandak Norbu Pelwa and Kunga Oser both served as abbots in turn. Then Lhai Gyaltsen, the son of Kunga Gyaltsen, his son Sangpo Lhundrup, his son Nyang Dorje Gyaltsen, and Kunga Pel, the son of Mandak Kunga Oser, his son Mandak Kunga Lhundrup, Kunga Tenzin, Tenzin Norbu, up to Tenzin Chogyal. Around this time, the lineage of Smawo Cho seems to have disappeared. Other Nyang lineages are still very numerous. The residence of Smawo Cho seems to be held by the lineage of Chöwang Rinpoche. The main residence of the lower treasure Guru Chöwang, Lhodrak Nula Yaga Guru Lhakhang, is managed by Dentsong Tulku Rinpoche. In addition, the descendants of Padma Wangchen, the son of Chöwang, include: Lhodrak Shar Tsen Dro Nezhi Monastery, Yarto Lhadröwa, Tsang's Kamowa Sochung, the lineage of Mandak Nyima Oser, Ezhak Nachöje, etc. Almost all of these lineages have continued unbroken to this day. The residence of the great treasure revealer Ratna Lingpa, Lho Dö Khar Lhundrup Phodrang, was very prosperous in the past, but does not seem to be very large now. Lhodrak Shar Chak Jangchub Ling is the residence of Pel Ling treasure student Jangchub Lingpa, and is now managed by Minling. Lhodrak Kharchu Dudjom Ling was founded by the Fifth Rinpoche. There is a pure monastery here that practices the upper and lower treasures, the Northern Treasure, and Gyachen, and is mainly managed by the government and Dorzhak. Lhodrak Guru Lhakhang is managed by Sungtrul Rinpoche. The beginning of its residence lineage is: Tenzin Drakpa, the reincarnation of Padma Lingpa, Padma Trinle, the son of Dawa Gyaltsen, the son of Pel Ling's lineage. From the time that Chöme Gyalpo Dondrup offered Guru Lhakhang to him, it became the center of the residence. Then in succession
