Having composed works such as "The Treasury of Logic," it has been propagated and flourished up to the present day through the explanation, debate, and writing of Sakya and Gelug scholars. Fifth, the inner science (nang-rig), which enables oneself to achieve liberation and the state of omniscience by fully understanding everything and instructing others. Its essence is: any object of knowledge that, through the power of abandoning the afflictions of the three realms and expressing the qualities of peace, enables the attainment of the state of benefit and happiness. Its definition is: the teachers of externalists, such as Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, the eight great sages, and the Jatas, who are known as great in the world, are not within the scope of their practice. Only the Bhagavan, the all-knowing one, has fully realized and taught others, so the tenets spoken by us Buddhists of the inner path are within their scope, hence it is called inner science. Its divisions are: the Vinaya Pitaka, which mainly teaches the precious subject matter of higher ethical discipline; the Sutra Pitaka, which mainly teaches the subject matter of higher mental discipline; the Abhidhamma Pitaka, which mainly teaches the subject matter of higher wisdom; and the four great tantra classes of secret mantra Vajrayana. Some teachers mainly focus on the Sutra Pitaka, while most teachers consider all three pitakas to be included. Some also establish the Vidyadhara Pitaka as the fourth pitaka. Among these, first, if all the contents of the Vinaya Pitaka are summarized, they can be summarized into seventeen topics. As it says in the Vinaya: "Ordination, Uposatha are the basis, prohibition, release, summer retreat, leather, medicine, clothing, hard objects, Kaushambi, the basis of actions, red ones, sentient beings, expulsion, Uposatha establishment, dwelling places and disputes, are all included in the Sangha's division." These are also well summarized into three methods: causing those who have not obtained vows to obtain them, protecting those who have obtained them from degenerating, and restoring those who have degenerated. The texts that teach these contents are: the words spoken by our teacher, the four divisions of the Vinaya Pitaka and their branches; and the Vinaya Sutra Root in nine volumes by the teacher Yönten Ö, and its commentaries.

There are also the extensive commentaries by Acharya Dharmamitra, the "Three Hundred Verses" with its commentary by Acharya Shakya Prabha, and many other treatises composed by scholars of the holy land of India. In this land of snow mountains, there also arose many treatises such as the "Root Sutra of the Vinaya" and the "Commentary on the Hundred Karmas" by the all-knowing Buton Rinchen Drup, the master of the ocean of Vinaya, and the Vinaya commentary of the omniscient Tsonawa Chenpo. Both the explanatory traditions and the practical applications of these, along with their followers, have remained undiminished to this day. Secondly, regarding the Sutra Pitaka, there are the Hinayana and Mahayana. Here, taking the latter as the main focus, based on the teachings of our teacher, such as the intermediate turning of the wheel of Dharma, the "Seventeen Mother and Son Sutras," and so on, there are the "Six Collections of Reasoning on the Middle Way" by the noble Nagarjuna, which explain the explicitly taught stages of emptiness, and the treatises such as the "Ornament of Clear Realization" by the venerable Maitreya, which explain the stages of hidden meaning and clear realization. Among these, firstly, if all the subjects of the Madhyamaka are summarized, they can be included in the two truths. According to the views of the various philosophical schools, the Vaibhashika school believes that whatever Dharma can be abandoned by creating or destroying something, thereby abandoning the mind's clinging to it, is all conventional truth, and the other is ultimate truth. The Sautrantika school believes that the general characteristics of perceived objects are conventional truth, and the directly perceived self-characteristics are ultimate truth. The Cittamatra school believes that all phenomena included in the conventional truth are included in the two, the completely imputed and the dependent, and that the ultimate truth is the same as the perfectly established nature. The Svatantrika Madhyamaka school believes that the realization that occurs when the mind's dualistic appearance ceases is the ultimate truth, and the realization that occurs with dualistic appearance is the conventional truth. The Prasangika school believes that all meanings found through false seeing are conventional truth, and that which is other than that is the ultimate truth. In short, the ultimate subject matter is the union of the two truths of the basis Madhyamaka, the union of the two accumulations of the path Madhyamaka, and the union of the two bodies of the result Madhyamaka. The main treatises that explain these are the twenty-seventh chapter of Nagarjuna's "Fundamental Wisdom of the Middle Way," Aryadeva's "Four Hundred Verses of the Middle Way," and Chandrakirti's "Entering the Middle Way," which particularly distinguished the Prasangika tradition.
