May it be a garland of fresh blue lotuses, May it be the nourishment for the rest of the impartial. However, nowadays, those who are unlearned but claim to be omniscient, are regarded as peers, and if one studies, even a single word, in front of self-proclaimed scholars whose heads spin like umbrellas, what use is it even if Manjushri himself were to come? May the accumulation of virtue from speaking thus, like a garden of white lotuses piled with immaculate snow dust, whatever merit is obtained that is as white as the teeth of the two drinkers, may it dispel all the suffering of ignorance of all beings, and with the wisdom of individual self-realization, may the conduct of the vajra of speech enter the ocean without wavering. In accordance with the treatise on ornamentation, the Mirror of Poetry, this example called Dandin's String of Melodies, is also because the all-pervading lord of all lineages and mandalas, the sixth Vajradhara, inseparable from the great Khenchen, the all-knowing Jampa Kunga Tenzin Tashi Drakpa Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo, with his extraordinary intention, instructed us to begin studying on this path, and placed the crown of command on my head.
