Homage to the Goddess! In all my lifetimes, All the non-virtuous deeds I have accumulated, I confess to you, Goddess. Please grant me victory over the four maras. The visualization for recitation is: In the center of a wheel of light, residing on a moon cushion at the heart, Tām (藏文:ཏཱཾ,梵文天城体:ताṃ,梵文罗马拟音:tāṃ,汉语字面意思:当), and before and behind, Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) and Hūṃ. Eight spokes with Tārā and others, Eight in total, Not touching, arranged to the left. Rays of light radiate, offering to the Victorious Ones. Accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings, The essence of samsara and nirvana, Absorbing into me, By this, dispelling the fear of untimely death, May I attain supreme and common siddhis. Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) Tāre Tuttāre Ture Mama Āyur Puṇye Jñāna Puṭṭiṃ Kuru Svāhā. Thus, visualize appearance as the deity's body and pure land, Sound as the natural sound of mantra, Recite and visualize without straying from the meaning of the nature of reality. When concluding the session: To accumulate merit, offer the maṇḍala, Elaborate or concise as appropriate, and offer praise: All Buddhas are born from you, Therefore, you are the mother of all Victors, The lord of the earth and the ten pāramitās, I praise the great Madhyamaka, free from elaboration. The clinging aggregates of form and so forth are the māra, The self-nature, completely pure, is the realm of emptiness, The one who unites without dependence, I praise the mother who possesses all supreme qualities. The wind that arises from conceptual proliferation, And the afflictive emotions that arise simultaneously, With the wisdom flame of the limbs of enlightenment that are abandoned by seeing, I praise the one who burns them. From ignorance arise consciousness and so forth, The lord of death, the māra of dependent origination, By the eightfold noble path that is abandoned by meditation, I praise the one who unites with deathless peace. From the connection between object and subject, The deceiving māra of the deva of action, In the space of non-learning union, I praise the Tārā who liberates, the wish-fulfilling wheel. Confession: Incomplete and deteriorated, etc., In short, confess all faults with the hundred-syllable mantra. May the noble Bhagavati, etc., By this merit, may all beings, etc., Dedicate and aspire. In all session breaks, if one does not separate from the path of generation, completion, and recitation, sustained by bodhicitta, then even in the bardo, one will see the face of Tārā. Composed by Khyentse Lha, the sprout of the Victorious Ones, for the Dharma friend Sara.
