Now, if there are painted images or the like, arrange offerings and torma in front of them. Seal the retreat place tightly. Reciting the six-syllable mantra two hundred and forty thousand or six hundred thousand times in the order of four sessions is a workable practice. Otherwise, strive until signs are seen. At the end of the retreat, if accomplished, arrange as in the case of the front generation empowerment. At the end of the self-front indistinguishable practice and recitation, receive the siddhi in the manner of self-entry. Other aspects of the retreat, such as what to abandon and what to adopt, should be understood as usual. May the essence churned from the nectar water treasury of the compassionate lord of wisdom, the moon-like light of the accomplishment activity, dispel the suffering of all beings in the three realms! This, too, is an extensive explanation of the connection with the vajra speech of the omniscient lama himself. Written by Khyentse Wangpo Dorje Ziji, a servant pleasing to the Lotus-Born Lama, may it be auspicious and virtuous! The Great Compassionate One, the practice and activity of resting the mind, along with the compassionate moon.
