That which cannot be harmed, the emptiness that is pure from the beginning, in the vast expanse of unborn space, the unchanging and stable life! After saying this, recite the mantra. Then, protecting life: Again, in an instant, visualize the disciples as Amitayus, and at the pulse gate of the eyebrow, the glorious Hayagriva holding a curved knife and a skull cup, terrifying, residing in the midst of blazing flames, thinking that all obstacles are thus protected. At the gate of the eyebrow pulse, Hayagriva, the wrathful king, with unbearable splendor, protect all obstacles to life. Recite the mantra and place a red auspicious mark on the eyebrows of all disciples. Celebrate the festival of life and auspiciousness: In the sky above each of you, the victorious Amitayus, the lamas of the life-leading lineage, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, heroes and dakinis, Dharma protectors and guardians, gods and human vidyadharas are surrounded, showering flowers, playing music, and singing auspicious songs of blessing. Cultivate this devotion. Convey this meaning: In the vast and boundless sky in front, the root guru Amitayus, the lineage gurus dense as clouds, the yidam deity assembly surrounded, the mothers and dakinis dancing, the Dharma protectors and guardians serving as servants, the sweet sound like a thousand dragons roaring, auspicious flowers falling like rain, may all fortunate ones gathered here receive the auspiciousness of immortal life! Auspiciousness of wealth and fame! Auspiciousness of great bliss and wisdom! Auspiciousness of fulfilling wishes! Thus say. In addition, recite various auspicious verses and scatter flowers, play beautiful music, promise vows, offer a mandala of gratitude, offer body and possessions, dedicate merit, etc., as usual, and then the disciples return to their respective places. The subsequent ritual is: Cleanse and bless the offerings, make offerings and praises as before, confess sins with the hundred-syllable mantra and omissions, etc. If the support created in front exists, perform the stable residence ritual, and if not, invite the wisdom being to return, and visualize the samaya being dissolving into oneself. Dedicate aspirations and perform auspicious deeds. ༈ If you want to accumulate a hundred or so life empowerments, before giving the life pills, perform a complete elaborate ritual as mentioned above once, and then recite any auspicious verses.

Gather all the life and merit that has been stolen, robbed, lost by you all, as well as the essence of the elements, the life and merit of all sentient beings, all the perfections of the three realms, and all the blessings of the body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and disciples. Dissolve into the mantra garland. From that, a stream of nectar descends. The vase is filled with immortal nectar, and empowerment is bestowed from the crown of the head. The inside of the body is completely filled, and the outside is completely washed, purifying all the diseases, evil spirits, and sins accumulated from beginningless time. Restore the diminished life and merit to its original state. From the Amitayus in the vase, one's own identical second arises. By dissolving into you all, generate the faith of attaining the immortal life awareness holder. Say this and recite the mantra and bestow empowerment. If you wish, recite the Power of Truth. In any case, while reciting the life-sustaining mantra, give longevity wine and longevity pills. Recite any auspicious verse. Count in this way. When completed, do as before, starting from the life-binding. ༈. Incidentally, here is a brief explanation of how to practice recitation based on self-generation: In a clean and secluded place, arrange offerings and tormas in front of an image of Amitayus. Seal the boundary strictly. Practice self-generation as before in three or four sessions. At the end of each session, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra, and perform offerings, praises, dedications, aspirations, and auspicious verses. At the end of any session, before or after, cleanse and bless the torma. From one's own heart, rays of light emanate, inviting the mandala of the protector Amitayus from Sukhavati. Visualize them abiding inseparable from the support in front, and perform torma offerings and praises. Confess transgressions. Perform front generation, stable abiding, and dedications, aspirations, and auspicious verses. Recite the Ama Rani mantra four hundred thousand times in this way, as well as the Sarahe and the life-sustaining mantra as much as possible. At the end, give the front generation support, life vase, etc. to the disciples.
